Its more the large grin that I can't manage to wipe off my face at the CS counter, of which I have to aim at the one that looks most like she's paying it back out of her own pocket to me, that I enjoy most!

But it can really pick up a miserable day!

If you read this and haven't tried it, it's a must!!

In my local tesco 5-7 Fresh British Lamb chops 9.97 on pack 9.49 on shelf. Bought 3 got to CS explained nicely about overcharging went back to show her and the devils had removed the label. CS offered to exchange them for some at lower price or take them back and get my money refunded said they were the ones I'd picked so opted for refund. Drove straight to another Tesco nearby and this time got my chops Yipee. Price was wrong aon all lamb chops not just these. At both stores CS were very nice, perhaps we should have a roll of honour for all the nice CS staff.

Picked up 2 large unsmoked Gammon joints today,£18 refund thank you very much.

Can I suggest that if you buy these boil them rather than cook them in the oven as I have done both before(when I PAID for this item)and when cooked in the oven tend to dry out more.
Also after boiling remove skin and most of fat and cover in honey and brown sugar and cook in over for about 15 mins basting with the mix every 5 mins.Delicious.

    Still cant find those trousers.

Should this thread be renamed FREE FOOD FOR ALL.

I do hope people who are really struggling with a budget and money problems are all reading this thread.

My last experience at Tesco getting my refund for some pork was so horrible that I have avoided going back for fear of them giving me grief. I have been shopping elsewhere and haven't been able to use coupons or anything. As for looking for overpriced stuff - well I feel like if I do then I will be in big trouble - even if I get accidently overcharged...
    3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Got some Turkey quick cook steaks, £7.22 per kg on the pack - £5.22 on the shelf.

CS Lady's face was like a slapped !!!!!!, as if she was giving me the money out of her own pocket. Also she retained the shelf sticker :(

    re: Quattro Razor

This is what i did today, bought the razor itself for £3.64 (this has a £2 off your next pack of 4 blades enclosed)

Used the £2 off on the 4 pack = £0.96/98 can't quite remember

Then used the £3 from the 4 pack on the 8 pack = £2.96

Total price: £7.56 for 14 Blades and 1 Razor

    Bargain methinks... :D

Nice one Marv! Nice to see big savings are available for using coupons the way they were intended.
    Can I help?
  • Picked up some Tesco Mature Chedder (large) tonight. Two big rows of the stuff on the shelf - one row with the correct price, the other with the more expensive price. Took my cheese to CS, who couldn't work out if I'd been overcharged or not (even though I pointed out that the price on my cheese was more per kg/lb than the price on the shelf (even though it was only 1p out). Ended up with a full refund. They didn't bother taking my name, or refunding back to my debit card - they just gave me the £5.46 back in cash. They didn't even bother removing the shelf sticker, which still means that one row of cheese is more than the shelf price!

Ordered another 30 packs of beef whilst I was at CS, too! Don't know why, though, as I've got enough for my holiday now! ;)
