The trousers you spoke about yesterday,I dont seem to be able to find.
The discription on the ticket is it the description on your post that read grey/khaki...... or was that your own description,if so do you have the description from the label? pls
Many Thanks
Picked up 2 other short sleeved shirts reduced to £1.50 lilac check and yellow check with blue.both were £6, sorry to go off subject.0 -

Hi, well its a funny day
hubby got 2 pieces of beef and 2 organic beef steaks today - got so much abuse at the checkoout, he caught the lady trying to pocket the ticket, she told him it was ridiculous and threw the money back at him.
so tonight me and mum went to another one and got (we only ever get 2 packs of each to share out) Topside (5.99 sel 5.98), the Harris bacon, Lamb Loin chops, and the gammon (8.48/ 7.98). they were LOVELY - they could not find a manager to authorise the refund, but were very aplogetic, in the end as no-one came they gave us out money back
I did notice the somerset brie back wrong, (6.97/7.30kg) but left it as did not want to get too much at once....it was hard as I LOVE brie
used 2 joeys so as they say every little helps0 -
:T Popped into Tesocs tonight and got 2 pieces of Silverside Beef - £5.98/kg on the shelf edge with the tickets on the wrappings marked at £5.99/kg Deep joy - got £14.14 refund and 2 nice joints of beef, refunded by nice young student doing a holiday job :-)The best way to escape a problem is to solve it :j0

Nice. Lucky you didn't get the argument about them being the same price per lb (which they are)!!!! Well done you.0

I don't like to push my luck too hard, so tend to just get one or two items. Today I was going to grab the 500g packs of bacon (rindless back, either smoked or unsmoked), £2.49 on shelf, £2.89 on pack. However, they still had some old stock of those beef roasting joints (the ones with the slab of fat stuck on the side that were condemned as 'bad butchery' in that supermarket expose on C4). They were apparently 30p per kilo off at £5.99 a kilo- but the newest stock, and the price on the shelf, is £5.98 a kilo. Win:).
However, to bulk my shop up, I grabbed six packs of sliced beef for clubcard points- at least I thought I did. In fact I grabbed five beefs and one pack of chicken (cost £1.00 rather than 66p). I spotted that at the checkout and took it back to correct it- but instead of charging me for the six beefs that I left the store with, the checkout operator charged me for 6 chickens and one beef, so I've been overcharged to the tune of £2.70. I'm going to have to go back tomorrow and try and get another refund- very irritating:mad:.0
