Thanks. But I managed to salvage about 2/3rds of the stuff, and am cooking a couple of things with some tomorrow.

Mostly just chucked out beef in gravy and chicken, just a few good bits of meat lost.

Still - all the more room for more beef now!!!!

good night for the beef again, and lovely customer service man asking how difficult is it for the butchery dept to get their act together?? (very I hope)

never managed the chicken breast yet, and we eat more of this than anything

DOn't know if this has been posted before.....apologies if so.
Lamb Chops....5/7 in pack... £9.46kg on shelf...£9.98 on pack. Got 3 packs and a nice £18.22 refund. You would have thought the money was coming out of the C/S girls own pocket......sour faced so and so!

Another lovely tea courtesy of Mr Tesco!

I've noticed that, they really do seem to take it so personally don't they? I began to wonder, given the widespread reluctance of CS to do this, if refunds might affect their bonuses or something, store targets not being met and that sort of thing.

Whole Duck - Should be 98p per lb on special, but to you FREE, if you can find one with the old price on it.

ok folks, this is long so bear with me - I got an extra nice surprise at the bottom of my bill today and not really sure where it came from, so will give you the whole list

    I bought today

    Quattro Razor 3.64
Twist game 1.98 (this was reduced)
    mushy peas 2@26
Bubble set 2 @ 97 (this was reduced)
    Joeys 10@ 2.48
    heniz s/wich spread .93
    lean mince steak 2@1.93
    heniz cheesecake 2@ 1.79
    quattro 4pk blades 2.98

Total 44.23 (the razor has a £2.00 voucher and the blades a £3.00 voucher for later - so they pay you 2p to take the blades away)

    Henize cheescake offer - .58 (2 for £3)
    nestle BOGO -£12.40
multisave -£11.40.........eh?? no idea where it came from but got another £11 off

New Total £19.85 used 2 joeys so total bill £13.85

we tried again and bought exactly the same and it worked again,
just got the last 4 joeys with toiletries as hubby was convinced it was them and it has not come off (only normal bogof) - so have a go you may get an extra £11.00 off your bill. Hubby thinks it was the cereal as he is sure it flashed up when they scanned, but it has not happened before

    have fun.
  • Colin2511 what was the price of the games at full price, they may have been on a promotion that they forgot to take off before they reduced the stock?
Thats the only thing i can think of?

    But nice anywhoo!

HI, the games were not expensive, only £3ish for the dearer one and £1.97 for the other two before reduced, so should not have made any difference.....I would try the cereal - as I can't think it was the mushy peas....it also states "multisaver" - and not the item that was on offer
