I buy the following:
wholemeal bread
soya "milk"
plain crisps
frozen veggie burgers
toothpaste/toothbrush
handwash
soap
peanut butter
baked beans
tin garden peas/carrots/sweetcorn
frozen mixed veg
frozen yorkshire puds
garlic bread
fresh fruit/veg
loo rolls & tissues
fruit & fibre cereal
crumpets/muffins
jaffa cakes (moreish)
coffee
tea bags
Am sure there's more. Happy with all of them. In fact they're partly the reason I manage to stretch our housekeeping budget so we can have the occasional luxury.0 -
Not very MSE, but their orange label Spanish white is great if you like your wine on the sweet side and only around £3 a bottleWorse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0

Spotted jars of Sainsbury's Basics tartare sauce - never seen them before! I'll be doing Fish finger sandwiches friday with the sauce (with basics fish fingers and part baked rolls of course), will post up my opinion!!
Funnily enough I almost bought this yesterday & then saw that their ordinary own brand is cheaper, 35.2p per 100ml as opposed to 37.5 for the basics.0 -
Ok, I can see quite a few of you haven't braved the curry sauce. Well we've eaten it twice now and it's great...tastes more like the sort of curry you had at school but definitely great tasting in a retro way....all for 9pence!!!
The chocolate caramel wafers (5 for 40p) are really worth it too and only 70 calories per bar!0
