Toad in the Hole - awful. Overly doughy and the sausages are quite tasteless.

Asda's one is much better and the same price, though not as good since they seem to have removed a sausage.

I find that all their basics biscuits are very good. I much prefer them to any of the more expensive ones. Although they're not that much cheaper now that they have mostly reduced the prices of their other ones to 40p.

Chopped ham & pork was 20p in the RTC section of my local store yesterday. Along with a LOT of other tinned meat products.

How long ago did you last try them?

Alot of that smell was to do with the white plastic one wrapper they were in.

They have since gone back to clear wrapper inside a box and now the smell has gone.

Little wrong with the cornflakes I could tell at the time except the previous
bag only packaging was not helping to keep them as fresh as possible once opened although you could transfer then to an air tight container.

Well give them a try now. I think you will now like them

When they were in the white bag, I stopped buying because of the smell.

Went to Lidl and brought thiers for awhile. Have now gone back to Sainsburys basic since they changed the packaging.

As for keeping things fresh in thier bags, a cheap bag lock is would you believe is a clothes peg. Just fold over the open part of the plastic bag then put the peg on. Works just as good as a air tight container and is alot cheaper.

If you like New Zealand lamb, Sainsbury's is one of the few places which you can buy it, now.

Sainsbury's Basics frozen New Zealand lamb chops 800g 4.55 i.e. 5.69/kg we chuck them in a stew as not the best butchery, you can find small sharp bones. Taste good though.
