Bought farmfoods bacon pieces a few weeks ago and got 7 perfect bacon chops no cut offs at all, all depends on which pack you pick up i guess.

Basics rice pudding at 17p a tin is AMBROSIA in disguise .

I buy this for my Mum and have tins of both brands with identical tins and codes !

Basics instant coffee: Saw this last night for the first time - 49p for 100g. It comes in a bag so you'll have to save a jar, but that's no hardship for the price. I'm drinking it now and it's no gold blend, but it's not bad and certainly better than other value coffees I've had in the past. As someone who loves coffee I find this to be quite acceptable if, like me, you've fallen on hard times and need to economise.

I love basics rice pudding - I certainly think it's as good as the brand pudding.

i have started shopping at sainsburys.because i find morrisons is alot more expensive now.

Basics Marmalade is excellent.

Not a fan of Basics Pickle spread though. Bransons every time...sorry!
