Oh and i apologise for saying "gay" its a word that was used heavily when i was back in high school and no matter what i do i still cant get it out of my vocab. Its as natural to me as weeing!
As someone who is gay, I can say there was no offence taken by me!!I have a male friend at work who always greets me as 'ew you queer' and is constantly telling me I am 'so gay' :rotfl:

Its a Chinese, nacho eating, guiness drinking, kun po eating, prawns, clam, shark fin soup gorging, dim sum tasting, pimms o clock drinking, burger munching, chip dunking, starbuck sipping, meat pies to stay sober tasting, vodka red bull drinking, lederhosen wearing, sweating it out in the gym 3 times..............

Oh, there are always so many things to say and then I forget them as soon as I start typing!
Suggs, your gain sounds deliciousWell done to you, Marion, BB and Pet for posting, there is no shame on here only acceptance. I have no doubt it will come back off soon and that you enjoyed it is the main thing.
Granny, France how lovely - I say just enjoy all the things it has to offer without feeling you have to go 'all out'; it's the extremes that make things difficult. I hope you have a wonderful time.
'reoomphify' should definitely be entered into the OED as soon as possible BB, what a fab word! :T
Beanie and Pet, big hugs coming your way, I really hope things improve for you both soon. BB, got your PM, great stuff, will reply properly tomorrow as out of va va voom too
Wendy, well done on a fantastic loss, and please feel free to post as much as possible, although I know it's hard to get a word in edgeways sometimes
Sorry peeps, not enough energy to say what I want but just a little progress snippet (instead of a WI - please take me off the chart thanks Delly). I was in a charity shop today and the changing room had two mirrors so you could see your back as well. In the past that seldom-seen view would have made me miserable (and probably running for the nearest comfort food) - today I was able to just appreciate that that's how I look from the back. No negative stuff, beating myself up blah blah, just a simple observation. One thing it also reminded me is that 'hiding away' in baggy clothes does you no favours - my tracky bottoms looked like I'd had a serious 'accident' in them they were so saggy on the bum :rotfl:That's another thing I've been doing, gradually replacing my wardrobe to reveal my body as it is now and my personality.
As with anything, my plan's not going to be a miracle cure, just a slow chip-chip away, kinda like with the illness, until one day I surprise myself with how much my mindset's changed; at least, that's the theory!
Have a wonderful rest of Wednesday peeps, I'm cooking rice and dahl (yum yum) and then off out to the cinema so see you tomorrow xxx
ps the word 'gay' features in my vocab too - when I was at school I used to ride a pony called 'Gay' - oh, how I laughed! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hi Everyone , some fantastic losses and gains this week! Well done wendy with your great loss and similarly well done suggs with your fab gain so glad you enjoyed your holiday to the max and it'll drop off in no time!!
I am posting a 2.5lb loss this week which takes me to my 20lbs lost overall since I started - so I now need a new target!?!?! I have still got 7 weeks til OH birthday so I think I will try and go for another 8lbs which would take me to exactly a 2 stone weight loss! But anything I lose is a bonus now because
:j :j I HAVE DONE IT!! :j :jGoal weight....lighter than when I started0 -
hello everyone! thanks for the lovely welcome messages! the bad news is i havent measured myself yet but i did accidentally come across a dreaded set of scales and being a bit tipsy after a few glasses of wine, did weigh myself. just over 13 and a half stone! yikes, all the weight i lost last year and then some! but i am being brave! im sure you must need the extra weight in winter anyway! but since the weekend ive been great with the effort. same idea again - calorie counting and keeping a food diary. it works for me so i'll stick to that for now. ive been eating lots of veg and wholegrains etc (had a voucher for extra points in tesco if i bought loads of fruit and veg! another incentive!) and ive been wearing my step counter and doing lots of walking so we'll see how it goes. i will measure myself on friday. have been so busy so far. (my aim is to be a size zero plus!)
i only have access on here every few weeks so please dont think im ignoring you! the library doesnt let me on the forum! pah!
