6lbs lostthats 10.5 in 2 weeks, whoopee ! cant believe it it will slow down now but who cares as long as its coming off I've done loads of walking and tho I attend S.W. and they say you can eat as much free food as you like I have been a bit of a pig and have cut down on my portion sizes a bit and waited a while b4 I had extra b4 I just grabbed a yoghurt or 2, to see if I really wanted it or not ,and 9 times out of 10 I didn't.Also I have been taking
apple cider vinegar capscules as I was told they would speed loss dont know if its them or not,but am going to keep on taking them. hello suggs i'm new to this thread but found your story inspiring .Good luck to every one else this week, just going to play catch up and read what you've all been doing  p.s.dont join in a lot cos i'm a newbie but read it every dayl:T Never Too Old to learn :T0 -

Enthusiam is a big thing, sometimes it is such an overwhelming need to fill one's belly but then it doesn't make it better does it? It doesn't solve anything just makes it worse, the only thing I know to get over it now and have learnt is do not deprive yourself at all because that makes it the enemy, just enjoy but don't go mad, portion it out, enjoy it, little gives pleasure without the guilt and the weight gain and all the negatives that come with it ,no need for masses.
I totally agre with the first part, that it doesn;t make you feel better, but for me, I can't have 1 because then I eat all 55 in front of me. I can't do moderation. Extreme or nothing. I have more will power to eat none of it than to eat just 1. I guess this is where I have to learn to change...0 -

Brilliant loss Wendy and well done to everyone else who's lost too. What you're doing is working great so keep at it, definitely no point changing anything while you're getting results! We were all newbies once so don't ever let that hold you back from posting
Totally agree with you on the "diet bore" thing, haha :rotfl:
I'm having a bit of a "medium" week so far here, certainly not as focused as I was last week but not going over the top either. Maybe I will maintain. That would be a first0 -
Well done Marion on posting your gain:T , I know it can't have been easy for you, but it shows that we are all human. I sometimes feel that, despite reading posts to the contrary, I'm the only one struggling (that's not the word but I can't think of the one I want) ..After being so smug last week that I'd managed to keep within a 2lb range since the start of the year, I gained 1.8 lbs on Monday; MrP had had last week off and it threw me out foodwise, but I didn't expect to see such a gain. It's through seeing how brave everyone else is that's shamed me into putting it here, I wasn't going to mention it. I realise that I'm within a 3 lb range now and I'm sure a lot of you would be glad to have it, so I'm sorry for my ramblings, but it's just how it's got me at the moment. Anway, like Beanie and Brightonbelle, this is the least of my problems!...
...Delly thanks for that lovely link showing sasha, she's wonderful :T ...
...Well done to all who of you who have lost:j ... just spotted wendys 6 lb off:j :j crumbs!...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Right just back from the gym, Following on from Granny I now can say.
Its a Chinese, nacho eating, guiness drinking, kun po eating, prawns, clam, shark fin soup gorging, dim sum tasting, pimms o clock drinking, burger munching, chip dunking, starbuck sipping, meat pies to stay sober tasting, vodka red bull drinking, lederhosen wearing, sweating it out in the gym 3 times..............
9lb gain
I never have posted my holiday gains before though I did always admit to them, and lost the gains usually within 7-10 daysHong kong was not my worst result
