Lose Weight 19

Hi everyone. I keep meaning to post more on here than my weekly weight. So will catch up with the days posts later this evening. Meeting daughter now then off to my voluntary job.
A 2lb gain this week for me. I know where it came from. Easter eggs
Catch up and get to know you all later.0 -
So I am going to report what the scales said today even though I don't want to. Gain of 5.5lbs. I don't know how you maintainer stay at exactly the same weight all the time. My body naturally varies so greatly (plus I have eaten too much recently but that is something else). I am sure  that next week I will be lower but it is better to aim for loss than aiming for a sts on a lower weight (if you see what I mean). Admitting this to you guys is hard and i wanted to hide...but i haven't and hopefully that will spur me on to lose it again.0

Well done you Efrieze. I know how hard this is. But you have made it clear in recent posts that you are putting on (then getting off) 'big' gains'. If this is a pattern , it must be normal for your body. Keep hanging on to the fact you do get it off again. The more you can post this off/on on here, the more you will normalise it for yourself over time and it will feel less awful for you. You are not going to put back all the weight you lost if you keep posting like this: as i am realising, maintaining is a whole new ball game, and the forum becomes even more important when we enter such unfamiliar terriotry. You have done brilliantly to lose 100lbs, so we know you have determination and commitment and the knowledge how to do this. And you look sooo good in your after photos (and very pretty in your 'before' I might add).I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Well done Efrieze for being brave - it's really is hard to do but BB is right, being more open about it will 'normalise' it over time. In fact, everything BB said was very wise. We're all in this together so let us help you 'share the load' (not the best phrase but you know what I mean!) xThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Efrieze - Think of what you have lost to be in the maintainers. Im sure its just fat storage that your body can take off just as quickly again. Dont find it hard to say youve put on, were all here for a reason anyway.0

What's more annoying is that a few weeks ago I weighed the same as my husband and then he decided that he needed to lose a few pounds having never been overweight in his life. So he has started to be sensible and has lost about 8 lbs whilst I have gained:mad: . I will weigh the same as him soon, though, I am detemined!0

1lb gain for me this week granny please. I'm going up and down the same l-2lbs so I guess that qualifies as maintaining.
Beanie -I did contemplate offering you a tempory swap with a depressed, unemployed, cold ridden OH :rotfl: . However, he's a bit too adoreable and I'd miss him. I could really do with him being locked in with a therapist for a week and not allowed out until he's addressed a few issues that will make his life so much more enjoyable and hopeful.:D Yup, there is absolutely nothing you peeps could suggest that I haven't done, suggested, been.Lots of cuddles, lots of support and understanding;suggested a 1000 ideas; kept quiet on ideas; got firm and put foot down(not easy for me); left him to get on with it; You can lead a horse to water but he's got to amit he needs to drink...Good job there 's a 1001 irreplaceable reasons why I love him lots.
Sorry, just needed to vent some frustration.Vix - sounds like you're backing the 'hug a hoodie' campaign:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Oooh beanie - an article just for you in the guardian:"A family row a day is good for teenagers"http://lifeandhealth.guardian.co.uk/family/story/0,,2265790,00.htmlI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
