  • Hey peeps, had a complete wedding (Sat)outfit panic this evening. The stuff I'd bought from different places I tried ontogether and I didn't like it. Sooo depressing. In the end I tried on a really nice outfit I had before i lost the weight, which is now 2 sizes too big. It actually looks ok with a bit of judicious nip, tuck and sewing the skirt on to my cami so it doesn't fall down when I walk:rotfl: . Will save me a fortune :rotfl: . Good job I hadn't got round to putting it on ebay yet:D . Just need a decent push up bra -my boobs are smaller than they used to be and the top half of the outfit needs a little more filling out. I need to be remeasured anyway a la vixarooni so it's off to debenhams for me tomorrow.

FFM word spell check votes you the winner! I never can remember how to spell it.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Warm welcomes sanya - I'm sure we have peeps on here with that condition, and certain a number of us have health/medication problems, so hopefully someone will be along today or tomorrow for advice. It is tough struggling with health issues that make losing weight difficult so every sympathy. Eating healthily is always a priority and not in desparation resorting to anything extreme that is so short term and non sustainable. Stick with us to get cheered up one way or another x

I was absolutely knackered last night-DS has something weird going on and has been up every half an hour, just yelling and not settling again. Only had to get up 3 times last night, but I fell asleep on the floor next to his bed after my last post (yawn). Little nonsense got up at 6 and is now napping so Ill get as much done as I can whilst he sleeps-then Im off to the doctor with him when he gets up. Had my activia for breakfast already. I buy the layered ones and have them with half a cup of muesli. Must be honest I struggle with lunch coz I spend lunchtime trying to trick DS into eating and then neglect myself (I know, not good). Planning to do a chicken stir fry for supper tonight. We bought a new set of tefal pans in the argos sale (non stick=no need for oil) and got a wok with it:) Also Ill walk to the doctor since his appointment is just before lunch so Ill bet Ill struggle to get on a bus with the stroller. (doctors about a mile away).
So my intentions are good, hope I can put pplans into action....

    Morning all

Great results there Raph, thanks for sharing them. Simon seems really supportive :) Let us know how you get on with the next phase.

Mumoftwins, congrats with the loss, that's brilliant the gain is all gone :D

BB, do you mean you're now not going to be wearing the outfit you've been using as motivation all week?! How is it saving money if you'd already bought the new stuff - I'm confused  Are you going to take it all back? Sorry if I've misunderstood. Glad you're happy with your "nip and tucked" outfit though and I bet you will look stunning. Hope you find something nice at Debenhams too!

Sanya1995, welcome and sorry to hear about the PCOS. Have you already tried any weight loss methods? Does the condition affect what exercise you do, etc? Apologies for my ignorance. Please do stick around with us and you'll see what others are doing which will hopefully help - I see Starlight has already responded that she has the same thing, and her weight loss has been beyond fabulous :D

All's well with me, fully on track this week and feeling great, just about to go and hand deliver a birthday card to someone 7 miles away, and going on my bike - by the time I've been into town on the way back as well that'll be about a 16 mile round trip, which I know isn't as much as I was up to last year but it'll be my longest ride out for a while. So catch you lot later, have a fab day!
