  • Seren - I'll try and post some red day lunch and breakfast ideas that don't use up your b's. First thought is how important to you is cereal for breakfast? I never have it (doesn't fill me up enough). Some morning I have a piece of frozen cod or colie(cheeper and tastes the same) with a poached egg on top with a small piece of steamed brochli. Very quick and simple with a microwave and is all free on a red day

    Cheers BB,
Cereal isn't particularly important to be (I do get out of the habit of weighing it though so ti fills me up as it probably edges towards the two bowls :D).

The reason I like cereal is that its something I can make and munch in about 10 minutes...morning routine is sometimes a bti tight but I am considering making the effort to get myself more organised and make life easier so you never know. post away and I may challenge myself to an sw week.

What I find nice and filling in the morning is a banana sliced up with toffee mullerlight yogurt over it.

Porridge is my current obsession Serendis, I love it! Really quick as well, almost as quick as pouring cereal into a bowl. Don't know how that fits into SW tho?

    Morning All

Drum Roll please the results from the Milton Keynes jury are in and it seems I have STS for the week.

    Other interesting numbers are the
Muscle Mass up from 11st7lb to 11st7.8lb
Body Fat down from 26% to 25.7%
and all on only 3 gym sessions this week instead of 4 as I was out on Wednesday. I also suspect I actually lost a tiny bit, but as I only record in whole lb's I cannot be sure.
So I am happy especially as I fell of the wagon on Sunday big time.

Welcome you our new ladies Polkadot and Sanya1995 as I always say, stay and chat, the ladies are great and Ajax is well just Ajax :)

    Well Done Mumof Twins :)

Right Back soon, got to do a call

My porridge is oatsosimple sachets, easy, 2 and half mins done:D tried the oats but kids cannot get the milk/oats ratio right and it comes out solid:rolleyes: goes in the bin and so oatsimple is a winner, has gone up a lot though recently:rolleyes:

BB, do you mean you're now not going to be wearing the outfit you've been using as motivation all week?! How is it saving money if you'd already bought the new stuff - I'm confused  Are you going to take it all back? Sorry if I've misunderstood. Glad you're happy with your "nip and tucked" outfit though and I bet you will look stunning. Hope you find something nice at Debenhams too!
Ah missyg, not suprised you are confused. I bought a lovely dress from the boden catelog at the beginning of the week. Snug fit, didn't have the next size up in stock for 5 weeks. Wedding is saturday. As I haven't worn it, it will just be a 'return'. The reason I am not wearing it, is that is is a lovely summery dress (I need it for a big family wedding in aug too) but I haven't been able to find a warm and pretty cardie to go on top for this time of year. Bought a few by catelogue that arrived yesterday thinking they would look great. They didn't. (I have to mainly clothes shop by catelogue becasue of my health - shopping is too exhausting + trying on loads of things makes me tired and miserable) Can't afford to keep the dress for just the summer wedding, I need the same outfit to do for both. So routled in my ebay pile and realised I could make something out of one of the outfits I had 'thrown out' (bought for posh do and worn once) and feel really good in it. Does this make sense. Bonus is I have used dress number one to cut back:D .
Sanya - I think starlight is doing weight watchers. Do you know anything about them? I don't think there is a magic formula with WW (other than an excellent mean of learning portion control and low fat/low sugar identification of products). I mean it's very good if it suits you, but probably isn't the only magic way to loose weight, if you see what I mean. I personlly couldn't cope with ww but many do and do well. And starlight has been a real inspiration. It might be a great place to start by finding out more about them?

Porridge wouldn't be the solution for seren if she wanted to have a red SWday, which is where I was coming from re getting rid of the cereal for breakfast - she might as well stick to cereal. On a red day, to not use up her carb allowance too early in the day (which you can but she doen't want to), she needs a protein based breakfast. Yoghurt and banana wouldn't sustain me for 5mins nessa:rotfl: . Thats a mid afternoon snack for me.
    Must go to town now
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
