If any of you are fans of blue cheese, try grating 2oz (56g) of stilton into a tub of quark with half an onion, finely chopped - stir it all together and let the flavours mingle for at least an hour, then eat it with spring onions, carrot sticks, sliced apple, celery, ryvita minis, etc. The dip is two healthy A's and ryvita minis, if you have them, are a healthy B.

That sounds delish!!! drool.gif I love stilton!

    So..my review results...
    Body fat %
    Was 46.9% ~ Now 44.5%, so a drop of 2.4
    Fat mass
    Was 7 st 2.6 lbs ~ Now 6 st 7.4 lbs, a drop of 9.2 lbs
    Weight (according to gyms scales)
    Was 15 st 4.4 lbs ~ Now 14 st 9.4 lbs, a drop of 9 lbs :D

Simon also upped my exercise. I'm now doing 20 mins on the bike, 20 mins on the treadmill. I've dropped the x-trainer and instead I'm using the rowing machine.
I've also been given some weights that should strenghten my muscles used for running.
I told him I'd passed in my form for the running club and he was all for it.
I managed to run the full 20 mins on the treadmill! So feeling really chuffed with myself.

thats some result victory! free stuff rocks. Seren, I have your problem too with a meat eating oh. The solution is a big bag of sausages from the farm shop. I freeze them in 4s and he gets sausages with whatever we have - pasta, quorn chilli, quorn shepherds pie, veg lasagne . . .everything. Oh and we try to have the odd steak on red days which keeps him sweet.

    hiya polkadot, welcome aboard!

    Hi everyone,

Been to WW this morning and have lost the 2lbs that I had gained when I went the week before last :D . It really helped by writing everything down so that I can monitor what is actually going in my mouth!!

Good luck to those who haven't weighed in yet this week and well done to those who have!!

  • welcome2.gifpolkadot. Big fan of spotty things me:D . Sounds like you are doing really well. My best advice is to join in with us everyday - that way we get to know you better and you'll pick up tips and advice. And we get to enjoy your company and your tips too.
I'm not sure what the scheme you were on before is. Peeps here follow various methods from sw/ww to smaller portions/healthy eating or calorie counting. I personally think it is best if you can find a way of eating the same as your OH but just smaller helpings(buy yourself a different plate to his which is smaller so it doesn't look like you are having less)For example I rarely have carbs with my evening meal but my OH does - I just cook potatoes or pasta/rice in the bottom of the pan for him and steam our veg above it or do a casserole in the slow cooker just don't give myself any taters. (This sort of thing might suit you seren re the meat - great advice from kpc) Eating the same as him like this is very sustainable long term and doesn't leave you feeling you are 'dieting'. That's for starters, but finding what suit your lifestyle is the key.
Hey raph - stunning resultsexbike.gif. Seren - I'll try and post some red day lunch and breakfast ideas that don't use up your b's. First thought is how important to you is cereal for breakfast? I never have it (doesn't fill me up enough). Some morning I have a piece of frozen cod or colie(cheeper and tastes the same) with a poached egg on top with a small piece of steamed brochli. Very quick and simple with a microwave and is all free on a red day
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Well as I understand it victory, on the continent cereal for breakfast is completely 'foreign to them too'. So why not? Just a tiny floret. (I don't think either of us have spelt it right :rotfl: . Any other versions on offer?) I have sliced ham for breakfast quite often too, or the remains of dinner from the night before. Or letils, feta and chargrilled pepper:D . But cereal, non.
