One rest day per week (so that Bails doesn't yell at me
)
Good girl!!Sounds fun, I'd be game if I was able! As for the running, it can get quite addictive once you get past the first 10 minutes regularly; I say that, some people just hate it, simple as. I didn't think I'd be keen but when I was training for the marathon (8 years ago now! :eek:) I found it very therapeutic (especially as I was breaking up with my debt-ridden fiance at the time - in fact, I think that's why I started running
). Maybe use London this weekend to inspire you Missy? I can be your virtual training partner if you like
That reminds me, when I was at the gym the other day, the PT asked me what I was hoping to achieve. Having already told her about my illness, I jokingly said 'Oh, you know, running marathons again', to which she replied, completely straight-faced 'We can get you doing that no probs' :doh:It was then I realised she didn't quite get it! She also proceeded to chat to me about new hockey sticks she was going to be trying out after my session; tact clearly not part of the job description then :rolleyes:
Sorry to whinge, duvet days are SOOOO not fun when you've had as many of them as I have (know there are people out there who can really relate to that) - I guess I can still be a grumpy patient sometimes! Gym obviously had to be cancelled today, and I'm having real problems with a massive haematoma I have in my left thigh from a biking accident 3 years ago - I haven't done any proper exercise on it since then and it's agony since the first gym session. Back to the drawing board for me...
love Misery Guts xxx
ps Pet, it's Gala. LOL at the joke, I did wonder after I'd written it what would be said but I thought it would come from Ajax

I met a person at work today that has a serious allergy that could commatose her with salt, her diet is a nightmare, she has to cook absolutely everything from scratch, can't eat out, get any kind of foods processed, ready made, soups,cakes, pastries, crisps, breads have salt in, the list she was telling me, even a stock cube has salt in it, she never goes to houses for dinner unless she takes her own, her whole life is trying to avoid salt:eek:
Wow and I thought I had it bad avoiding nuts!!

....hi dragon.
Delly: Can I be added back to the list too please. My distractions have subsided sufficiently. I won't weigh in until Wednesday though, and have no idea what's happened since then. Should be a nice surprise - not!
Just that, Nessa. Lose 5 lbs in a month between two named Wednesdays. Usually 4 weeks a month, but there are four 5-week months in the year.0 -
nessa someone will correct me if i am wrong i am sure but its a monthly challenge to loose 5lbs in that month.

Thanks purplecatlover. Sol is at the vets, been there all day so I'm assuming he's had an Xray, may be in plaster?
I am dreading the bill...

If you can't takethem out for a walk to get away from the chocs, or use any kind of distraction, read a book, go for a bath, anything, if you can't then have the one and the one only, enjoy it, love it, cherish it:rotfl: and have the one as a treat, then ask the grandkids to put the chocs away or your OH, just have the one and let it melt;)0
