Glad to see that both dragon and ajax want to rejoin the chart :j it really is an incentive not to stray too far into forbidden food territory...
...Are you okay now Ajax? I not asking for the grim and gruesomes, I noticed when you came back you mentioned that you'd been miserable, but I didn't want to mention anything (is Bailey okay?)...
...Oh wendy what a dilemma, but could you face your little grandchildren and admit to them that you snaffled all their chocciestheir poor little faces crumpling into tears with wrenching sobs that tear your heart apart????If so, then you should treat yourself to the chocolate twirls (the kids won't miss them:D ) and then adjust your food intake accordingly for the rest of the day
...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

yeah vet bills are not to be sneezed at, but i would sell my soul to pay for any treatment my girls needed. by the time i heard about insurance and had my cat here she was too old for it. now she is only a year or two shy of 20 years to old for it
younster is insured though (at least i think the dd's are still going out monthly).
wendy the equivalent of one normal sized bar wont do too much damage.
i can't ban chocolate and such like completely, i only want it more. i do eat less though when i dont chew it at all. takes forever to let it melt away on its own and satisfies the sweet tooth for much longer.0 -
Missyg to give you a compare and contrast against your sessions
4 times a week in the gym
12-15mins on the Bike
12-15mins on the Cross Trainer
13-15mins on treadmill (average speed 6.6mph)
Friday and Sundays tend to be my rest days, but now there are lighter evenings, might go for a walk on Sundays.
Total Calories Burnt 700-900
It depends on how hard I want to push it and what I want to do as well as any time issues I may have. In recent weeks I have managed 3 x 2 mile runs and 2 x 3 mile runs roughly averaging 9 min miles
I still hate the thought of going to the gym and I find the first few minutes on any machine very hard work. Trust me I still do not look forward to the gym and I still use this as a method to migate the food sins I still manage!
So missyg, full of admiration for your efforts and likewise for anyone who adds excercise to their regime, and yes that can include adding an extra walk. We all start somewhere, Two years ago, I was 12st6lb heavier and was starting in the gym for the first time in years, I was scared silly believe me! I wore track bottoms to try and hide myself
If you fancy a running challenge?? How about we set each other a challenge??
Once the rugby season is over I fully intend to seriously review my regime, and look at body fat measurements and try to reduce it over the summer, perhaps by 5% if that is possible. My scales currently say 26% body fat.
Oh and I play rugby on Saturdays, away in High Wycombe tomorrow! Wish me luckProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

EDIT: Just looked back. When I said I was miserable, I didn't mean literally. Just miserable as in too self-absorbed to bother to come back and see his skinny mates0 -
purplecatlover what about 4 funsize twirls ? how much damage do you think they have done ? I can't live my life without chocolate ' just have to be sensible and ration myself ,then will have something to look 4 ward to got OH watching me like a hawk now [ on my instructions ] only having crab stix and salad 4 tea no yogurt I dont deserve it I'm a pig .making myself suffer cos I'm badl:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

4 funsize twirls = one normal sized bar
getting the hang of rationing it is hard, every single time i try and resist the choc urges i end up eating far more than i do if i just let myself have it as a treat.
do you like dark chocolate? buy yourself a big bar of that, then have a little square or two when you want, its impossible to eat more than that of dark choc i find.0 -
thanks purplecatlover but only like milk chocolate ;am drooling just typing it,so will allow myself a treat like you and try not to beat myself up over it instead of getting straight back on it but when I'm bad I always think thats it I've blown the diet and eat all sortsl:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

try and change that thinkingyour not bad and its not blowing the diet just having a treat. and one treat is not a liscence (sp) to eat all sorts. its just a treat, or a snack.
