yay to all losers - especially beanie - you've been having a tough time lately it's great to see something going your way. Had a great day at the food show, walked MILES. Ate a bit but not too much I don't think, although the smoothie samples may all add up a bit. Found some great new products that I'm going to stock including some VERY interesting health bars. Haven't checked them out SW as they are likely to be classed as bad - however they are made from oats, nuts and fruit so on a health kick they would be cool. O and for any mod who is checking this thread, I'd like to stress that this isn't my company website i'm posting, I will not benefit from this in any way - i just really liked their products and their ethos and thought it would be okay to share it - we talk about branded stuff all the time on here don't we!

ess-six i didnt think that the gym was my scene, but then i decided that i could at least go and walk on the treadmill when it was *insert any excuse here* to go outside. and then i decided to join some of their classes and that turned into classes 6 days a week and i surprised myself by enjoying them.
honestly i dint expect to like it, i expected it to be a chore and something i would struggle to keep up, given my past history (read hatred) of anything other than a nice walk in the sun.0 -
gain of 0.2kg this week
somewhat disappointing but i shan't break my heart over it. I can't say hand on heart i've stuck to sw over the week so it's my own fault. off to do some gardening now - I HAVE to get my potatoes down and I'm taking a chnace on planting out my sweetpeas too and now is the only time i can do it!0 -
funny you should say that lilmissmup I'm due for my SW weigh in this morning have been 110% sticking to diet [and on the vinegar capsules ] but feel I'm not going to lose, strange isn't it ,and theres no reason I shouldn't . a sts this week please delly. Not suprising as I have had a huge (for me) sugar craving these last couple of weeks. Yesterday I tried taking myself firmly in hand and declared it day 1. I'm 3lbs over target, which I realise to many of you would sound bliss, but there is always the lurking fear this is the slippery slope down to 1/2 stone etc.
I've got to tackle this now to reaffirm I can be at target when ever I choose. I don't feel fear around food, but I do a little around regaining the weight. Food is good. Food is fuel I need. I just have to limit the treats a bit more. Breakfast of fish (colie) and poached egg and small floret of brochli. Lunch will be baked potato ( HEb), very low fat cottage cheese and (HEa) grated cheese, and salad. Tonight is the luscious 'morrocan stew' on recipe board (2 syns and loads of veg) with a small lamb steak. Snacks of raw carrots, melon, and banana on 2 ryvita (2nd HEb). Milk with tea covers 2nd HEa.
Lois - its really good to have you back. As others have said, this is a stressful time and weight loss is not going to be a priority, but this forum as you know is fab for support until you are able to focus more on that.
Beanie - well done on the weight loss -you have had a difficult time recently and it's great to read you feeling so positive:j . Starlight - big well dones on putting up the photos - you can soooo see the difference: you go in where you used to go out:j :j .
kpc - given the week you have had you have done well, not resorting to loads of grub to cope. Mind you, I can never translate kg's in lbs in my head so never have a clue how you've done unless I'm doing the chart and get my calculator out:rolleyes: . Delly - the important and excellent thing is that you are very aware of how you are eating and what your choices are, and are still very much on the forum, so I think you will 'get' there ('there' being what ever works for you) when you are ready. It's ignoring what is going on and /or denighing it where weight gain really starts.
Beautiful sunny day: currently redesigning my kitchen on a budget. Found cheap website for new cabinet doors.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
