Welcome back Lois - you've been missed I'm sorry to hear about your OH but keep your thoughts postive and things will get better.

Well done marion on your fantastic loss and everyone else who's lost this week.

Welcome all new posters - just let me know if you'd like to be included in our monthly challenge.

starlight - your photos are wonderful -:j you're literally half the woman you once were.... fantastic. How did the kick start go?

Sorry, another quick poster today. OH is on day shift and I'm run ragged so I'm completely knackered and not having the best diet week at all. I've just worked out I think I've put on between 4 and 7lbs since I quit WW and stopped taking the reductil. It's stops now. Day one for me tomorrow. I am still considering SW BB but not just yet. Really interested in the MSE talk, especially the grocery challenge and morgage talk. only 2 things to add - grocery challenges are much easier acheived with shopping lists/menu planning and mr t's dot com delivery service.....

morgages - a tough one cos the housing market in NI had only started to climb within the past 4-5 years and people are still sceptical. I bought my 3br 2bath 1200 sq ft. house 10 years ago for £55,000. It's now worth £185,000 (far too much in my opinion). victory - the only real reasons why I have a morgage is because housing was reasonable when I first got onto the property ladder and secondly, I don't want to be paying rent when I'm drawing my pension.... But life is worth living and if you can rent far cheaper than buy, my advice is to live for 6 months as if you had a morgage, save all the money you don't spend on repayments and then see whether you can sustain it all.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

delly thanks, renting is extortionate these days,(1,000-1,200 they asked for the other day when we emailed!!! you can live in a hotel a month for that price:rolleyes: ) pretty much the same as the mortgage payments, little bit less but near enough, H refuses to put his lump sum into renting rather than bricks and mortar but we are going to be so stretched it worries me sick especially seeing the news, house prices going down, negative equity etc , anyway waiting on the mortgage lender to give us facts and figures:D

    kraft welcome xx

Starlight, you look amazing, well done.:j

Well done to all the losers: Clareabelle, Nutty, PurpleCL and Beanie lou,

    I have a 1lb loss (lucky!)

Am taking a 2 week break from weigh in. My eating is quite erratic at the moment as work is so stressful and I want to get to grips with coping with the stress without resorting to eating. Any ideas what to do with a work shy colleague who does s*d all!

A half a pound loss for me this week.

Managed to do the 3 mile power-walk around a local dam on Thursday and Friday, but ended up with a blister the size of Africa on my heel (strangely, it didn't hurt though) so decided to give up on my plan to do the same on Saturday and Sunday.

I keep thinking I ought to join a gym, but they're really noit my scene.

Well done to Marion, George and the other losers this week - onwards and downwards with the number on the scales!
