Well done to everyone with losses!
George, I admire your enthusiasm to get in shape and being active is a great way to do that. Gyms won't let you in until you're 14 (this is the youngest age you're allowed to use the machines). It's really really important to remember that you're still growing and that some exercise can be harmful to your growth e.g. weights. Your bones don't fully develop until you're 20 and can be damaged. Why not make the most of the summer months coming and plan in lots of outdoor activities - the fresh air will really help too.The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Firstly Welcome back Lois :j :j I was so sorry to read about MRLL
and I'll be thinking of you both next week and sending positive vibes. I remember you were so pleased when you booked the LV holiday, but your husbands health far outweighs it, perhaps next year
Pop in whenever you can and remember to look after yourself, one ill person is enough in any family...
...Well done Marion 9lbsfantastic stuff :j ; Cuffie :j , G3ORG3 :j don't lose too much, you will grow upwards soon; and Mark :j ...
...Hi Chipper Can your OH perhaps try having a healthy cereal bar (or the like) with a low cal crink such as diet coke etc? That way he'll be getting some calories plus the filling factor. Whatever you decide for himplease let us know how he gets on, we like different ways being tried here...
...Glad to read of the MS stuff, it's really making me get off my backside and do something :T it also helps take my mind off the other thing, not totally, but some, so that's a benefit in itself:o ...

well done marion. i dont get notifications for this thread half the time either. it is this thread is jinxed or something.
meh according to the scales at the gym my weight has gone right back up again higher than its ever been. but shall see what my scales say tomorrow. mega !!!!ed off about that. (and of course assuming that my friend there was being nice when she said its obvious i have lost weight). might actually get the tape measure out again and see what it says.
surely it cant still be muscles growing or whatever they do after 2months of daily exercise. please convince me it is just that.

It cheered me up if nothing else...
A quick question...have you changed your routine at all? exercise wise I mean....
It might shake your body up again.... even if its doing things in a different order....
The important thing is that after 2 months of daily exercise you must be feeling so much fitter and healthier!0 -
I feel so sick it isnt funny. I bloody well hate being a sodding woman (sometimes)
My mum asked me if i wanted to go to a garden centre just now ha. I probably would have gone if i didnt feel so bad but i only like going to this particular one at christmas. Although she could have dropped me off at primark.. anyway. Babbling on!
Well done everyone on the losses! I totally wish i didnt have exams and that i could focus on weightloss 100%
Have a good tuesday everyone0 -

according to my scales i have lost 1lb, at least i think i have if i am right in remembering that i was 2 down last week (i forgot to right it down).
so i am going to assume that either the gym scales are wrong, or it was my shoes that weighed that extra, or my scales are wrong but then they have been wrong all along so i better just stick to them.
vix feel better soon.

Hey guys well done on the losses so far this week
Lois, I didn't know you from before but all the best for next week, sending lots of positive vibes your way.
G30RG3 that is an enormous loss, please go easy on yourself because that seems a lot for 1-2 weeksThe most important thing is to keep yourself healthy and strong, and then when you are old enough to hit the gym, you'll be able get maximum benefit from it. My son can't wait to go to the gym - he's got a bit longer than you to wait though
He's only 9! I let him use my exercise bike as that's no different from normal cycling really, but otherwise we just get out and about like Bails said.
Good luck to everyone still to weigh in!0 -

Hi Everyone,
Can I join you?????
I had lost about 11lbs, then I just went into PacMan mode and started eating everything in sight.
I haven't weighed myself, I'm waiting till Friday, then I'll see what damage I've done.
We go on holiday in 11 weeks time & ideally I'd like to lose a stone by then.
I don't want to do anything drastic, I go by the 80/20 theme, good 80% of the time, not so good 20%. I love to have a few glasses of wine at the weekend (& a pkt crisps / bar of chocolate).
I don't buy ready meals, but I don't always cook completely from scratch (the odd jar of sauce appears). I need to control my portions & cut out the junky snacks that have crept back in again.
This is my first time on this board and I'm looking forward to reading back on all the posts and getting to know you all!!!! :j :j :j0 -
Hi everyone,
I'm feeling guilty for not posting much - just my weekly weigh in. I've been really busy lately but will try to post more often.
I'm reporting a 2lb loss this week which to be honest I'm amazed by. I was dreading going on the scales as I didn't have too great a weekend which involved danish pastries and a chinese carry out. I must have had enough syns to cover it though. I'm going to try to be really good this week just in case it catches up with me!
Anyway, well done to all the losers, keep it up!
Claire xThanks to all who post competitions!!0
