me too vix. i was the teenager who preferred to stay in and babysit on a saturday night, not for the money, but for the time with the kids. i hated being the youngest child.
kind off resigned myself somewhat to accepting that it is unlikely ill have my own kids though and having looked up adoption the other day thats not going to be an option either. stupid bloomin rules. cats it is then.
and i never had a hangover until i hit 21, they have progressivley gotten worse as i have gotten older still. now i just don't drink, it is not worth it lol

Beanie: i dont think my level of broodiness could get any worse! If it does god help me. I dont think i can wait untill im 30 to start, like i set out! Although yesterday i was playing in the snow thinking, im still a child, why am i feeling so strongly about having children myself!

Purplecatlover, are you sure there is no way of getting round the rules? or is it a defo no means no? Im not aware of adoption rules or the alike. What about fostering? or does that still apply too? Sorry for the complete ignorance. Youre a wise woman not drinking though, i wish i could stop myself but i go out and clubs are so rubbish if you dont drink, everyone barging you, standing on your feet ect. Why i do this who knows!!

On a seperate note. My cold has got worse. The culmunation of going out saturday night and playing in the snow yesterday hasnt done my cold any favours i dont think. Woman flu for sure!

Morning All

Usual old weekend for, me except the rugby got cancelled, opposition couldn't get a team up! Children came down, well two of them did, eldest stopped home as she was going to see The Enemy. So when I dropped the two off, eldest and I went out for a coffee. She has her college interview next week as well as all the GCSE's starting soon. Eating wise the weekend was a dead loss, my fault and from MrsSuggs reminding me, whenever I fly and stop away a few days I tend to eat more than normal, and I finally surcumbed to the Malteaser easter egg :EasterBun Well on the National I lost all, but having done the betfair thing a couple of weeks ago for the Gold Cup, I am still evens overall.

Wasn't the snow lovely? I even got to throw a snowball I remember it snowing in April a good few years ago.

Anyways it seems all things not been good in here? Ajax pops up from under KPC's desk and the plop of a dozen pairs of knicker elastic could be heard! Somehow he also managed to kick in someones hormones? On the kids front KPC, I echo the wise words already said on here, I am not sure what to do, sounds like lots of talking will need to be had, I was joking last week that I cant wait for my midlife crisis so I can spend a fortune :j but if ajax allows KPC :grouphug:

The Gas and Electric changing chat is good, I keep meaning to do it, but seeing as only just, 6 months ago, had the economy 7 meter removed, I am not sure how good the figures are to use? My car insurance is up this weekend, have used various web sites to find best price, CIS looks good and is in quidco, however I need to have business use, which is not an option when inputting the data, ringing them gets a good price too, better than my renewal. MrsSuggs has used them and it seems when she started the policy online, by default she got business use and she doesnt need it? Shall I take a punt?

Vinegar?? I might have to follow this line of thought with interest?

Right enough of me waffling on, best I make the coffee and do some work.

vix only way i could get round the rules is by changing my name and never having had a mental illness. they dont like to allow people with issues to adopt or foster. and you ahve tio jump through hoops and prove your issues have all been dealt with and are in the past. even then i know someone who as a teenager had depression and was turned down for adoption becasue she hadnt had therapy and resolved stuff, not that anything had been a problem in the 15 years before she applied. which means that i have no chance now that i have a diagnosis of bipolar and i fail at therapy.

ahh well probably better for the kids not to have me as a mother anyway lol

Well I knew it could go either way this week and it's a 0.5lb gain I am very pleased I kept things under control for the second half of the week or that would have been a lot worse! I am still just under my BMI 'target' so a careful week this week should get me back to having a bit more leeway. No harm done.

I'll be back for a natter after ebay parcels have gone out!
