  • Morning post run, evening post run and delivered 102 catalogues this morning. Got soaked three times in less than two hours.... :rotfl:

Did some more work on the programme this afternoon and evening and had an hour on the phone to the boys. DS3 rang up this morning to say his older sister ( not my daughter ) had told him that nobody likes him and that she hates him too. She's twelve years old so should be growing out of language like that especially lies like that....

Tomorrow offers pretty much all the same plus sorting out leaflets for the paper deliveries later in the week. Spent £5.24 in Somerfields tonight on bread, milk and an apple pie.

Got wet three more times today, that's six times in two days now. Tomorrow I'm going to have a shower fully-clothed so I can save God the trouble of watering me....:rotfl:

Morning post, evening post as usual. Delivered 1,044 leaflets this morning*, home for a coffee then out to deliver 103 catalogues....

Chilled this afternoon with mate John who came round for a coffee and a chat. Tonight spoke to the boys who were chirpy about coming round tomorrow for the day. We might go to the airport, we'll see! ;) Currently waiting for a phone call from Portsmouth's goalkeeping coach who I'm doing an article on in the programme on Saturday....tick tock tick tock, come on!!!
  • Absolutely bushed having just finished my paper round twenty minutes ago....

Morning post run then straight out delivering 116 papers. Came back and attacked some paperwork for an hour or two before the boys came round for the day. Was umming and aaahing about going to see Wall-E with them but the programme deadline was today so decided to wait until it was finished. Stayed in all day, played some indoor golf then went out to do the evening post run before taking them home. Came back, did some more admin before going out tonight and delivering 120 papers and 960 leaflets and got wet again.... :D

Off for a shower and then bed, methinks. Tomorrow I have the post runs again plus I'm trekking down to Dorset to visit my older two children taking them for lunch...

    Enjoyed today...:D

Morning post run then back home, shower and off down to Dorset to see my older two children. DS1 wasn't very well but DD1 was and had an appetite so I took her for lunch at the local eaterie. I was good and had a jacket spud with cheese as did she, we had an orange juice and lemonade each and a slice of fruit pie between us and still had change from £12.00....

Took DS1 down to work,he'd recovered, then drove home for the evening post run. Now sat at home wondering what to do. No twins, no papers or leaflets to do, the football programme is finished and my paperwork is pretty up together....

  • Busy old day today folks. Morning post run a little earlier this morning so that I could get my shopping done before picking the boys up at 8.45am. Spent £21.29 in Asda....

Just chilled with the boys today before the evening post run. After I'd finished made the cracking decision to go down to the balloon fiesta as the weather for flying won't be good for the rest of the weekend....good move, saw 112 take off which will be more than takes off for the rest of the weekend put together. Here's a few pics...

    Wow that looks fantastic.

So far today I've been stuck in the house cos the weather outside is terrible. Rain, rain and more rain. I've even had to put a jumper on cos its gotten chilly inside.

If it gets any colder I'll put my dressing gown on...I refuse to put heating on in AUGUST!! It's summer!!!
