After the lord mayors' show today, I'm afraid.... . Found everything a struggle from just getting up to doing the catalogues to even tidying the house....
Anyway, did have a no-spend day today which was something. Did the morning and evening post runs, delivered 102 catalogues this morning, 464 leaflets this afternoon and a load of washing from the holiday. DS2/DS3 rang up this evening for a chat and I got some of my overdue paperwork done tonight.:T
Tomorrow consists of catalogues, newspapers, school run, football training and probably mowing the lawn too!!!:D0 -
Today was pretty much as I predicted.
Morning post run, breakfast then off out to deliver 116 papers. Met my 90-year-old neighbour today for the first time in the seven months I've lived here.... . Home for a coffee then off to deliver the last 50 catalogues in the van before collecting another 250 from the warehouse. I need to get another 800-odd out before the weekend then chug on with them next week.
I'm being a naughty DFW tomorrow because I'm going racing at Bath... .
Spending today? £7.83 on shopping today at Somerfield, £15.00 on diesel at the local Esso garage and £4.00 on football training this evening.0 -
Racing in Bath?
Havent been to Bath in years.

Hi Chip
Did you enjoy the Holiday?
Hi Lucy,
We had a brilliant time away, we got back just before dinnertime on Monday.
Haven's camp is fantastic and worth triple the money I actually paid for it. I need to sort another trip away in the October half-term, may appear to be not very DFW but I could only afford to go there through the Sun's cheapie holiday. It's handier than you think to get to - from my house to the camp is 90 minutes door-to-door....:T
The weather was perfect. Pretty much 70 degrees each day with a gentle flowing breeze that kept the kids cool and even-tempered:j . Went to the beach every day, played a round of golf every day, spent a while in Funworks each day and went swimming on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I took bed linen down with me and we didn't eat at the restaurants at all so I saved myself a few bob there too. Sat down at the beach till nearly eight in just teeshirts and shorts so still warm in the evenings too.:D
Good to see you out and about still posting....:T0
