Quieter day today. Morning post run then delivered 150 catalogues before noon.
Picked the boys up from school and took them to football training tonight.:j
Two more sleeps till my holiday....:D0 -
Non-stop today and more of the same tomorrow.
Morning post run, home for a coffee then out on my paper round. That was the new customer I was referring to in my previous posts. I'm a little bit ashamed, nope thats the wrong word, embarrassed that I am doing a paper round at the age of forty, I've never done one before.... . I'm telling everyone that I'm into media distribution which isn't strictly a lie. It will pay just under £50 a month, it took me 45 minutes this morning...:D and that will be every Thursday. There's another area becoming available in two weeks time which pays circa £70 a month which I'll take on too!!
Went down to see my older two children at 10.30am this morning, spent the day there, took DD1 shopping with her mother ( no outlay there ), bought them tea then came home tonight.
Holiday tomorrow, have made a list.....- Morning post run
- Collect boys and take them to school, collect their cases from their house
- Move settee out of van. I picked up a free three piece suite this morning, left it in my van tonight as I need muscles at the other end...
- Need two new tyres on the front, get them sorted by my friend John
- Two loads of washing to be done
- Pack my stuff not forgetting swim stuff
- Do my weekly shop
- Pay a cheque into my bank
- I ought to deliver as many of the last 150 catalogues as I can before the holiday
- Collect boys from school and head down the M5.... :j :T

Hi all...:D
Thanks for all your kind words. We had a brilliant time away, we got back just before dinnertime today.
Haven's camp is fantastic and worth triple the money I actually paid for it. I need to sort another trip away in the October half-term, may appear to be not very DFW but I could only afford to go there through the Sun's cheapie holiday. It's handier than you think to get to - from my house to the camp is 90 minutes door-to-door....:T
The weather was perfect. Pretty much 70 degrees each day with a gentle flowing breeze that kept the kids cool and even-tempered:j . Went to the beach every day, played a round of golf every day, spent a while in Funworks each day and went swimming on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I took bed linen down with me and we didn't eat at the restaurants at all so I saved myself a few bob there too. Sat down at the beach till nearly eight in just teeshirts and shorts so still warm in the evenings too.:D0 -
Glad you had a good time Chip! And the weather was better for you than for me here. lol. It's been chucking it down up north!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
