  • Had a reasonable day today.

Did the morning post run and the lads at the warehouse next door were feeding a fox... . I've never seen one close up before despite being a country boy originally :D . It's ever so tame as people keep feeding but I'm sure he / she'll come to a sticky end at some point soon....

Delivered the 250 papers and 1,750 leaflets ( thought there was 1,000 but sadly miscounted ) and did some shopping this evening in Tesco (£26.97 plus 26 Clubcard points ). I have four more articles to write but they can wait until the morning. Tomorrow brings the MP run, collect the boys and take them to school, pop in to Wilkinsons to return a keyboard, buy some birthday presents for the boys whose parties the twins are going to on Saturday, collect the boys from school, take them football training then bathtime then bed. The articles, or at least two of them can fit in there somewhere...:p
  • Morning post run then collected the boys from home and took them to school. Back home then off to buy some presents. The twins are invited to two birthday parties tomorrow, one from 12 noon - 2.30pm and the other from 5pm - 6pm. I got the first lad a Star Wars lunchbag kit and the second one a Bristol City drawstring bag, both of which will be wrapped in the relevant wrapping paper.

Picked the boys up from school, home for tea then out for football training tonight. Back home, bath and bed for them while I sit up and try to belt out another article tonight.

Spent £11.00 at Bristol City FC this morning, £15.00 on petrol ( Tesco, 15 Clubcard points ), £11.42 at Toys R Us and that was about it really.
  • Naughty Chip hasn't been updating his diary so here goes with three days in one.
    • Saturday - took the boys to the first of their parties. Dropped them off at this one and returned two hours later to collect them. Just chilled in front of the football results until the second party which was a football theme party in a local leisure centre. Stayed in that evening.
    • Sunday saw us chill out all day and hardly go out at all. I took them back at 4.00pm, had tea then went to the local quiz which we won for the second week running. We bought a round out of the winnings and the rest will go to the under-eights team...:T
    • Monday was a productive day. Did the morning and evening post run and in between sorted some paperwork out, wrote an 800-word article for the football programme and reorganised the front room into a new smart way...:D
Tomorrow sees more paperwork, another article, a trip to the rubbish tip, morning and evening post runs plus an interview with my old school headmaster too...

  • Hi all,

Haven't really had the time or the inclination to fill in the diary. I'll be starting a brand new one on Wednesday which I will link to from here.

    Best wishes
