Quite a reasonable day today really. Did the morning post run then filled up (£46.00 petrol, 46 Clubcard points ) before heading off to London town on Tuesday's postponed job. Back in Bristol again by 1.45pm, dropped the delivery off, went home then promptly fell asleep for an hour...
Woke up, had tea, went shopping (£23.82 in Tesco, 23 Clubcard points ), home for a shower then off to skittles tonight for the first game of the new season. Bought twod rinks and paid my subs so whole evening was £4.40 in total. Almost DFW if you ask me...:D
Tomorrow the boys are being dropped round mid-morning, chilling till football training then will start packing for our mini-holiday....:D :j :j0 -

Last sleep in a proper house for two nights, on holiday tomorrow. Well until Monday anyway...:D
Boys were dropped round this morning so chilled with them all day before football training tonight. Straight home, bath and then bed as tomorrow will be a long day, methinks. The airport is sort of on the way down so we might go via it, can't check in until 4pm.
Going to make a few changes on Monday when I get back. Need to be smarter with my money, more careful, more steady and plan ahead with more success. I'm better than I was but a financial crisis is never too far away with me, I'm afraid.
Forum is closed tomorrow so see you when we come back on Monday....:D0 -
Hope you have a good time.

Not long back now, had a great time. Very lucky with the weather again, had a storm on Saturday morning before we got up but otherwise it was great. Sat overlooking the beach up till nearly 9.00pm last night having a cuddle, it was ace....:p
Spent a bit, a DFW weekend it wasn't. Had a round of golf on Saturday and Sunday, spent a tenner each day in the amusements and also ate out on Saturday night (£9.00). Fuelled up at Tesco's Exmouth this morning before returning home. I've noticed the Sun are doing the tokens again this week so we'll have another try later on. I must seem obsessed with the place but the boys and I ( happy normally ) are super-happy when we're there as it's just the place we love to spend time at. If we're successful, it would mean three trips there in fifteen weeks which sounds excessive but it would be nine nights there for a total of less than £150 which is pretty good for nice caravans by the beach with good weather for an adult and two children...:j
Back home now to a smarter, more sensible me, here's hoping. Spent £10.00 on petrol this morning, £1.47 in the forecourt shop and £8.50 in Funworks arcade before we left.0 -
Forgot to post last night. Nothing much happened except I went to skittles, had a drink bought for me and paid my £1.00 subs so a real cheap night out.
Today, I had 250 Ikea books to deliver; the morning and evening post run returned today; had to sort out 1,500 leaflets for delivery tomorrow; sort out a few bills and some paperwork and tonight I wrote an 800-word article for the football programme on Saturday week.
Tomorrow is paper round day, 250 papers + 1,500 leaflets to do before mid-day when I pick the boys up for the afternoon. Tea, then football training, then take them home before writing a 1,000 word article for aforementioned programme.0 -
