Long old day and a busy one.
Morning post run, collected the boys and took them to school then back home to pick up the van and fetch the last 250 catalogues for next week. Had a quick lunch then back to pick the boys up from school as they've now broken up for summer. Their mum has said I can have them all day Wednesdays and Fridays in the holidays which is great news....:j
Tonight we went to the football tournament venue to set up the gazebos, tents, the bars and the PA system for tomorrow's big day. Boys were shattered so gave them a quick shower and off to bed.
Tomorrow, we have to get up, all get changed, have breakfast, pack our stuff, do lunch and get down to the venue by 7.30am.....:eek:0 -
Had a nice day, thanks for asking...:D
Got to the tournament on time this morning, they both woke up of their own accord which is how I'd prefer it. Got there for 7.30am and spent the next 90 minutes parking folk up and selling programmes. Both our teams failed to qualify for the semi-finals which was sad but it's been a long first year for them having played 26 full matches and another seven tournaments this summer too... . I invested a tenner at the fair there as the boys had been so well-behaved so they had a couple of goes on some of the stalls.
Tonight we went to see Kung Fu Panda at the cinema which was brilliant. Dreamworks have pulled another great film out of nowhere...:T
That was about it. We'll just chill tomorrow, probably just go to the airport then have some lunch. We've all caught the sun and I'm browner than I've ever been. I'm this colour now >>>>> which is great...0 -

Sounds good to me, Blue. We're trying to get a few days away at half-term too and the five parks I have selected are different to the one you're going to but if we're either unsuccessful or going away at a different time, we'll deffo meet up.:j
Kids broke up on Friday, a week after yours...0 -
A very long day...
Started at 1.30am by getting about ten text messages from the twins mum. She was either !!!!ed up or trying to wind me up or texting me by mistake, texting me stuff like "Marry me" then "Oh f*** off then!" and associated guff like that. I tried ringing her to stop but no answer so I ended up leaving the phone downstairs. Took an hour to get back off to sleep...
Morning post run then back home. Spent £30.00 on petrol ( 30 Clubcard points ) then went to the post office to collect the tokens for the October half-term holiday I want to book via the Sun. Bought the postal order from the post office ( £42.00 ) and sent it off. Drove down to Yeovil for a 90-minute meeting about their football programme ( I'm responsible for five pages this season ) then back up the motorway to do the evening post run. Encountered a thunderstorm which soaked my washing and eventually got home at 6.45pm. Been doing paperwork since, going to stop for a drink soon then at 10pm will start building the football teams website for them....:j0 -

Had a much quieter day today. Did the mornng post run then came home. John, my mate, took the van to the MOT centre this morning, it just needs a bit of work on the brake pipes...:D
Sorted out the first batch of the last 744 catalogues to deliver, I'll try to get 200 done on Thursday. I have the boys coming round tomorrow from 8.30am till 7.00pm so I can't do any then.
They are nagging to go to the airport tomorrow so we'll probably slope off there in themorning when its quite busy. No football training for four weeks so might let them loose down the park too...:rolleyes:0
