    Morning chip!

Hope your ok. Sounds like things are going good.

As for the relationship thing, I have a friend with with a similar attitude, he has his job, adores his little boy and loves his life as it is. He says he doesn't have time for a girlfriend, and is far to selfish now to have someone else in his life, he's happy and if he wants to take anyone out for dinner/movies he takes me! :D Which I am happy with to.

So if you are happy as you are, who says you have to settle down?

Oh and :j For all the deliveries!!!

    xx

Hi there, nice to have you back...:T

Did the morning post run earlier then had a phone call from the twins mum. She's p****ed up this morning and asked me to take them to school. Got there and there was no lunch done, book bags unpacked and their drinks weren't ready either.... , not to mention they had to make their own breakfast...nice to see them though....:D

No doubt I'll get a phone call later on asking me to collect them from school. They have football training straight after school tonight, a school-organised one, so I'll pre-empt her phone call and go to watch the training in the expectation of taking them to her house afterwards.

Funny how things work out really. I have a meeting tomorrow night ( I'm a supporters rep for Yeovil Town ) so I was fully expecting not to see them during the week but it turns out I've seen them early which is a bargain.:D

Twinklie - I am fairly close to them. Its about 6/7 miles from my house to theirs, takes about 20 minutes when clear...

Awwww.....you do sound like a brill dad. The thing they'll remember is you turning up to all the practices, even on nights when they aren't going to your house.

My sister and I have different dads (she doesn't know hers), and my dad always used to go and watch her after school sports stuff and she remembers it. It ment a lot to her.

I agree with Twinklie. My Father never bothered after my parents separated, from the age of 11 until 18 I never even got a birthday card. And haven't since my 18th.

So from experience I can say you are an amazing Dad and they are very lucky to have you.

Aww, thanks, its very good of you to say so. My children have never had the best material goods that money can buy but they all know that their daddy loves them. The younger two, in particular because they live closer, have lots of good memories in the bank from their toddlerhood. I get them to try new activities and new places; if they don't like them then off we go to try something else. The twins are seven and football is their life. They've played nearly thirty proper matches, five tournaments got four trophies each and have also been to more than 50 Yeovil matches including a trip to the new Wembley and Notts Forest's ground. I'm about to take them on their third holiday alone with me and I love it...:D

Bed awaits. No catalogues today, just the morning and evening post runs. Watched the boys at training tonight, their mum picked them up okay. Tomorrow is just the morning post run then off down to Yeovil in the afternoon for a supporters rep meeting....:o

I think that is the way to be with kids.

I have loads of memories like that with Mum, and again nothing was expensive, but I loved it all. Still do actually, and I am proud to say she is my best friend!

    Have fun at the meeting!

    Hi Lucy...;)

Most of the stuff we do is cheap. Going to the airport costs petrol money only and we can easily lose a couple of hours out there:eek: . Same with going to the harbourside for a picnic, they love watching the little ferries go in and out and now and again, I'll splash out and we'll trip round the harbour on one. Taking them to football in the park is free as is kicking a ball in the garden.

Today will be a quiet day, methinks. I have done some housework  , a spot of ironing, had a shower and attacked some paperwork.Need a few bits and bobs from Tesco's, some more paperwork, lunch then off to Yeovil to see an old friend before the meeting at 6.00pm.

Are you having a good day? Working I guess.....
