    Wow.:D

Went to the school summer fayre today and caught the sun big time...:D . Played the teachers v parents netball match and we won 10-0 with yours truly scoring a hat-trick from the goal-shooter position...:j . Boys had a good runaround, going on inflatables, taking part in penalty shootouts, tombolas, etc etc. Spent about a tenner at the fayre which wasn't too bad for three hours entertainment for three of us. DS2 won three prizes and DS3 won two so all-in-all a success.:T

Got home, had a coffee then off to the airport for a little plane-spotting. Only stayed there for 75 minutes but still saw seven new ones taking their total to 519 aircraft. Came back home, bathed them and off to bed early as they have a football tournament at 9.00am in the morning....

Spent £1.24 on bread, £40.00 on petrol ( all Tesco's, 41 Clubcard points ) and some Match Attax card packs.

Caught the sun again big time today. At this rate, I'll be mega-brown by my holiday, albeit not everywhere....

Not been a NSD by any stretch of the imagination today. Been to a football torunament all day and got back at 3.15pm. The boys have gone back now so all on my lonesome again....I really miss their laughter when they go home. :( . Spent £2 on admission and a programme and around a fiver on the stalls at the fair attached to the tournament. There was a photographer there taking pictures of the teams playing and he did a nice blended picture of both twins playing which cost me seventeen quid but worth every penny as it's a great snap. Bought a can of Blackthorn for a refresher too @ £1.50... . Both teams ended up getting knocked out at the quarter-final stage after extra time....:T

    Afternoon all....:D

Morning post at 7am, back for breakfast then a spot of paperwork. Nipped into Bristol for a haircut (£12.00 plus £2.00 parking ) then into Wilkinsons to buy a nice frame for yesterday's football photo (£2.50)....:D . Even resisted the urge to buy lunch out and instead, made a cheese sandwich.:A

Off to collect the first 400 catalogues of what might be as many as 2,000 to deliver this month in a minute so further investment in fuel will be necessary.

Managed to collect just under 300 catalogues today and got most of the paperwork for them done. Went down to my customers today to pick up the server to take to London tomorrow, have got a job coming back too which makes it a good job...:j

Did the evening post run tonight then chilled out by watching the Andy Murray tennis match with a packet of Tesco chocolate raisins. Incredibly, still managed to stay under my calorie limit for the day although I won't be repeating that again for a while...

    I'm sorry but :rotfl:

And surely as you were partaking in 'sport' you could have earned yourself some extra calories?

I completely missed the match, with at aquafit instead!

Hopinn that the trip to London is ok, at least you have a nice day for it!

It was in the eighties in London today so I s'pose it was a nice day really.

Morning post this morning, evening post this evening and as you see, a trip to London in between. It's five years ago today that I became self-employed and in that time, the price of a standard trip to London has increased by almost fifteen quid. I've only put my price up by a tenner but if it keeps going up, I'll have to seriously think about raising my prices on this job. It's a top solicitor that I work for so money isn't so much of an issue for them but I'm lucky to clear £50 profit on a normal job for what could be six / seven hours work. I've deliberately kept the prices reasonable as they've given me more than a hundred jobs in those five years to London alone. Today, I had a return as well which is 50% of the price on top which is nice...:T

Other than that, I've come back to a barrage of emails and stuff to be sorted. I'm really enjoying life at the moment and, with reference to my previous grumble about not having anyone to share my life with, I'm not sure that if Miss Right came along, I'd have time to enjoy her. There are many folk in life who seem destined to be happier on their own with their children, their work, their hobbies and their friends and no partner and just maybe I'm going to be one of them....

Chip, it's all about the timing. If your happy thats all that matters.

And to be honest, being in a relationship (as I'm sure your aware) ain't all that. As it is, I'm sat waiting for news of my OH. He was playing squash after work (for the first time) with my best friends fella. He apparently has run into the wall and given himself quite bad concussion. SO, we shall see. I'm hoping he's ok.

I'm not stressed at all.....honest. It doesn't help that he has the car and is over half an hours drive away so I can't even go and see if he's ok. But I'm not stressed....honest.
