Ended up with the boys staying longer than planned.:j

Their mother was supposed to come round at 11.30am and pick one of them up for a party, picking the other one up on the way back. She rang at 11.45 to say she was running late (d'oh, I'd figured that one out myself ) so I met her up the road and took them both to the party, dropped one off and took the other for a Maccy D's.... . Picked the party boy up, picked a Happy Meal up for him and took them home. Mum rang up at 2.00pm and I told her I'd keep them till 6.00pm.:j

Had a meeting reference the football tournament on July 26th where I was co-opted to do the minutes which was a eye-opener in itself... . Yes, a  was about the long and short of it. Must get those typed up tomorrow when I have a mo.

    Edited to add spending:

    McDonalds - 3 x Happy meals £6.57
    Milk £1.44

    Afternoon all,

Busy morning. Did the morning post run at 7.30am,back for breakfast then I've put one load of washing on, popped out to pay a cheque into the bank, nipped into Sainsbury's for bread, biscuits and cheese ( £3.76, three Nectar points ), hoovered and cleaned out the car, spent most of the morning typing out the minutes from last night's meeting and that's about it.:D

Couple of phone calls this afternoon before the evening post run but otherwise will chill out in front of the telly. Need to get back on the bike tonight.

    Blimey.

About an hour after I posted at lunchtime, I was travelling to the land of Nod. Only stayed there for an hour and came back straight away but what a shock, I didn't even realise I was that tired.

Evening post run tonight was uneventful. Came home via the football secretary's house to pick up a programme. I have to source a new printer tomorrow to print the 650 programmes for the tournament. Re-jigged the minutes tonight and am now sat browsing on here wondering where folk are...

Eh? Nobody in particular, beanie, just seemed quiet here today. I've subscribed to six threads on mse.com and only one of them has moved since my lunchtime post. I suppose people are busy doing stuff while the weather is good....

Oops, forgot to update yesterday, sorry.

Not a wonderful lot happened to be honest. It was a no-spend day, did the morning and evening post runs as normal plus had a netball trial at school at 3.30pm.

Yes you heard right. It's the school summer fayre on Saturday and there's going to be a teachers v parents netball match at 12.30pm to kick proceedings off. I think I was suggested because I'm 6'4" tall and not because of my netball prowess but I took to it surprisingly well really. I'm in the team as goal shooter now....:D . Got home last night and it was just one phone call and one email after another so didn't have chance to do much else...

This morning have done the post run and done a little bit of shopping ( £6.83, Tesco, 6 Clubcard points ). I've got the lawn to mow, some more paperwork to do, the boys to pick up from school and football training tonight.:o
