Had a nice day today with one or two blips.

Took car round to John's for a coffee and he found it was overdue an oil change so as my oil level was lower than a snake's tummy, he took it off the road and lent me his. Started driving down to Dorset before getting a phone call saying that the twins sister ( not mine ) had been taken into hospital with a relapse referring to her appendix operation last month. I was too far down to turn around so had to make some phone calls to get someone to pick DS2 and DS3 up from school. My friends Dean and Kate obliged :T :T .

Trundled on down to Dorset and took X1 and DD1 down to Castle Point in Bournemouth for a shopping trip. We went our separate ways when getting there as I hate clothes shopping with women. We were there for about two hours or so so I bought an almond croissant with coffee in Caffe Nero, a bundle of bamboo canes for my sunflowers in B & Q and a "thank you " card and gift voucher for Dean and Kate, total of £12.37:rolleyes: . Stopped on the way home and bought some toilet rolls and milk in Tesco's (£3.40).... now off to bed as have been up for a long time and I'm getting old....:D

    Hi!

    Hope twin sister is ok

Sounds like an ideal shopping trip to me... although I prefer all butter crossiants, with chocolate if it's and option! (there is no wonder I am overweight!)

    Hope today is going ok

Went shopping really early today, i.e. finished and out of Tesco's just after 7.00am. Spent £15.10 ( 15 Clubcard points ) then did the morning post run before picking the boys up and taking them to school. Swapped cars back over with John but filled his up with the petrol I used first...£25.00, Tesco's, 25 Clubcard points.

Popped into town to pay a tenner into my account and sort a cheque out, nipped into Sainsbury's for some finger rolls and a small bag of sweets ;) ( £1.00 , one Nectar point ) and then picked the boys up from school. Fed them then took them to football training for 1.5 hours before coming home and bathing them. Off back downstairs to cuddle up on the settee and watch the football which was fine except DS3 was worn out and missed most of it as he was snoozy....:D

Both gone to bed now and I'll be heading up there too in a minute.

Third morning running that I've woken up with a headache....

DS3 ( the younger twin ) fell asleep during the football last night and didn't wake up until 7.45am which is 45 minutes later than normal. However DS2 woke up at normal time so no lie-in....

Went to Bristol Airport this morning, took down another eleven aircraft making their new total of planes spotted, 511. Made a couple of new friends out there too, its quite a nice bunch out there really. Just got back and had some lunch, now going to chill out for the rest of the day.

As predicted this afternoon, just chilled out for the rest of the day.:D . Boys have only just gone to bed as they were watching the football which went to extra-time so hopefully they'll lie in in the morning..;)

Almost a no-spend day apart from £2.10 on Match Attax cards and a packet of Maltesers for each of us....

Did my twenty minute session on the bike this eveing and managed 2.97 miles which is a new record!!:j

    Morning Chip.

Your headaches could be down to chocolate withdrawal (don't laugh I get them to!) They should go in about a week I normally find.

Hope your having a good weekend!

I'm not sure it is chocolate withdrawal as I haven't completely, er, withdrawn from it.:A

It's more likely to be that the last jar of coffee I bought earlier in the week was decaffeinated when I normally drink the full caff stuff.

No headache today though so not feeling bad about it. A week without chocolate? If ever a comment was worth a  , this was it. So have another one....

    :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I love chocolate.... Yummy....

But yep probably the coffee!! I've tried to cut back on the choc, I can't give up completely  I'm lucky and don't drink tea or coffee, so never suffer on that front.

Have had a tough day today though, so chocolate chip muffins for later :o Still I have somehow managed to lose 2lbs this week, no idea how though :D
