Morning Lucy...:heartsmil ... you're quite right, free isn't bad. I went onto the cricket ground website last night and they're quoting £310 a head for what I enjoyed yesterday    :D

Meanwhile back in the real world, I've been shopping this morning and spent £20.62 in total saving £1.46 in multi-buy purchases. Noticed my Nectar balance is gradually climbing, just under 700 at the moment. My Tesco clubcard account statement came through last week together with £8.50 of vouchers. This will translate into £34.00 of "day out tokens" which isn't far off my annual trip to Longleat.:j . Always makes me chuckle when folk ask me if I go through the monkey enclosure and risk my aerials / wiper etc. If people saw my car, they'd know it was so old and scruffy that the monkeys actually put the stuff back on for me. Last time, a big ape made a great job of refitting my aerial   although hanging out of my exhaust pipe wasn't what I had in mind...:rotfl:

Picked the boys up from school, home, gave them tea then off out to football training. They have their second tournament tomorrow so it was hell on earth as they were so hyper....

Not much planned today to keep them fresh for tomorrow. Might have a picnic at the harbour or at the airport then back home, two football matches on telly tonight to get them in the mood for the tournament but an early night as we have to be up, changed and breakfast by 8.30am....

Nice day here today weather-wise. :j

Ended up at the airport this morning for two hours as the harbourside has a festival on so it would have been crowded today. Saw 21 new aircraft making a total of 500 since we started doing them about three years ago. It all started when they watched "Airline" once and were enthralled by the Easyjet planes. I took them out a couple of times and then they started asking if we'd seen this plane before or that plane before. I began to take the numbers to check and it bloomed from there. We're going to go to Heathrow or Gatwick one weekend to bump up the numbers a bit....:o . We all made three new friends out there including two deaf and dumb blokes who were spotting there. Really nice blokes and I enjoyed the challenge of conversing with them. I've always fancied learning sign language and might start trying to get a little way with it...

Tournament day tomorrow. Early start as explained earlier so hopefully they'll get a good night's sleep and wake up refreshed.

Bright, sunny start to the day here.:D

I've been up for two hours already and done some sandwiches for lunch, packed the kit bags, had breakfast and had a good long cuddle in bed with DS2 and DS3. They were awake circa 6.30am so just had a thirty minute snuggle with them....:p

Have to pack their cases next, tidy up, pack the car and off we go to the football tournament in Wiltshire, kick-off 9.30am.:j

Well I'm browner than I was this morning for sure. Baking hot down here today...:D

Tournament went okay. I say okay but it was a little bit disappointing really. It was non-competitive so everyone gets a medal regardless of how good / bad they are. The kids know this so don't have that little edge to them. Hence last week when we played we won four, drew three and lost one. This week, same amount of games and we won two, drew three and lost three. Still everyone's trophy cabinets have new additions tonight...:j

Boys went home with their mum straight from the tournament so they got a little upset. They've been used to staying till 4pm or even 6pm lately so going home at 12.45pm saddened them a bit...:( . I came home, had some lunch then went upstairs for a snooze for an hour. Came downstairs again fully refreshed but decided to leave the lawn for another day...

Have the morning and evening post run to do tomorrow, some business paperwork and maybe a meeting in Yeovil regarding the programme too.

Very quiet day today. Morning and evening post runs and not much else otherwise. Simon and John came round for lunch ( the couriers I work for ) and that was about it. Spoke to the boys tonight and had their mum on the phone having a go  because they're asking to ring me up every night. We've all got teams in the Fantasy League for Euro 2008 and they've been ringing up with their team changes each night about 7.00pm for around twenty minutes. She wants to put a stop to it saying it's her time with them....

Sold my mobile phone on Fleabay tonight for £37.00. It was a nice Sony Ericsson k800i but I'd rather have the money to be fair. I have an LG phone that I'll use for a few weeks till I pick up some good money in July from HDNL, one of my better customers....:j

Sounds like fun, although it is hardly your fault if the boys want to call you! Or did she just have a bad day and take it out on you?

Oh and :T for the phone sale, I got about £23 for my old one when I recycled it.

So what do you have planned for today?
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:
:ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A

Think she had a bad day. They get bored easily and without trumpet-blowing, I genuinely think I know what floats their boat better than she does. They like drawing pictures, playing football, watching football and playing at being adults, watching planes, picnicking at the harbour, going on trains, they're my little action men:D ...since they were babies though, she has always found it difficult to cope with the both of them together whereas I've tried to see the whole dad thing as a challenge ( and I've not been disappointed  :D ).

Today? Just done the morning post run, got a load of paperwork again to sort through, picking the boys up from school, taking them to football training then back home, crack open a bottle of something and watch Euro 2008 first half followed by The Apprentice final.....:j

How about you my sweet? You sound a bit cheerier....
