Lots of firsts then!!

Well done on the client poaching.... that's how the big plc's do it, believe me I know!!!
Are the boys up to much on their half term hols? Mother is on her's to an already driving me up the wall!! Swap?
So do you actually get Cricket? It's a bit like golf for me, I never have any idea what's going on

Hey Chip, just popping in to say hi! Glad to see things are still going so well

How did the writing go? I only ask because I'm months past a 12000 word deadline
Pea x
Hi Pea, nice to hear from you....:T
No writing today. I've only really got to do about 2-3,000 words of it by Monday week so no major hurry. The other 23,000 or so I can take as long as is necessary really, probably manage to organise it so I do 1,000 words every other week through the season...:p0 -

Hi gorgeous....
It's not really client poaching as they've given up. Someone else now is doing it so I'm going to have to play on the reliability and "better the devil you know" aspect to get them back.
Swap? Nah, love mine too much to swap for your mum, sorry! They're coming over for the day tomorrow, I'm picking them up at 8.30am and dropping them back after football training tomorrow evening.
Cricket, now that I DO get! Went to the same school as Ian Botham although he was 13 years older than me ( probably still is if the truth be known :rotfl: ). I played for a team for a while and always watch it if it's on. Golf is brilliant, I'll have to take you out for a round one day, its actually good fun. Played for 6/7 years and got quite good but then moved to Bristol and my clubs have been like my exercise bike has lately.... redundant...:eek:0 -
Hi
Hope you had a good day and haven't got to wet! So what have you all be doing?
I've caddied (read followed ) one of my ex's around the golf course once, and the walk was nice. He took me to the driving range once, but realised I could hit it further and in more of a straight line than him and he never took me again :rotfl: But that was about 7 years ago
Cricket strikes me as fun on a sunny day when you don't have to be the driver on the way home, but I don't understand the point of it!
Let us know how you get on with your clients, extra business will be good. I work in logistics so sort of know what it's like.

Shan't be doing too much as it's pelting down here at the moment....

I've set up their snooker table in the front room so they're merrily playing away now. The PS2 is also set up ( I've set up the gumtree telly from last week ) so I now have a front room / dining room combo with two telly's. One of the advantages of having a 25' long room, I suppose....:D0 -
Sounds like a room full of boys toys!!
I was lucky and the rain had stopped in time for me to get to the office dry, weeing it down now though.Current debt - £16,300

My bad, I forgot to post yesterday. Naughty me.....

Haven't really done much to blame the lack of posting on. Normal work hours, had the boys all day yesterday which hampered my PC access somewhat  and then took them to football training last night. Spend yesterday was £3.00 on football training, that's all.
Today, normal work hours again, stuck £20.00 of petrol in the car ( Tesco, 20 Clubcard points :j ) and went shopping for the weekend spending £20.83 ( Tesco, 20 Clubcard points :j ). Popped into Ikea to see if owt in Bargain Corner but it was as empty as a hermit's address book....
. There was a free Aneboda wardrobe on Trade-It earlier, I rang within an hour but missed it.... 0 -
Well done Chip for having a low spend day

Picked the boys up after the morning post run and had quite a busy day really. They wanted to go plane-spotting again and as the Continental Airlines plane ( one of the bigger ones that uses Bristol ) was in and departing at 10.30am, we made an early one of it. Saw another fourteen new aircraft making a total of 479 since they started in 2005....:D . Treated us all to lunch on the way back ( £4.15 ).....
Chilled out at home this afternoon and took them to football training this evening, paid for on Wednesday night. It's their first ever tournament tomorrow but only DS3 is playing, DS2 has not been picked....in two weeks though, it's the other way around, phew!!
Had a phone call from one of my potential customers this afternoon and she has booked a job for me tomorrow. It's to Cardiff, worth about £35 to me and I'm well chuffed. Could be the start of something regular, I hope...:D0
