Forgot to post last night, oops, sorry!

Took the boys to football training last night, dropped them home and got back for the Champions League final, missing the first twenty minutes or so...

Apart from what I posted yesterday, spent no more last night. Had a dozen cans of Carlsberg in the fridge ( a thank-you from the team coach for helping this past year ) and that was it really.

Met the boys at school this morning and watched a classwork sharing concert which was nice :p and now attacking the paperwork with a touch of housework too...:j

Goodness, I'm getting a bit lackadaisical with my posts on here lately...

I think that I spent £40.00 on petrol yesterday ( 40 Clubcard points ) then today I spent a tenner on diesel and £36.56 in Asda this morning. The Asda amount included £7.00 on a nice jumper / shirt combo that's a little too small for me now but I will grow into it. I was also pleased to see a multibuy saving of £1.24 on my Asda receipt on stuff I'd bought more of to save money....:D

Nice day weather wise today so made most of it. The lads have been pestering me for a while to take them plane-spotting out at the airport so we went out at lunchtime and took a picnic. They have been collecting the numbers for about three years now and have 469 aircraft in their book....

Almost a no-spend day today bar a tad of shopping tonight ( £2.68 I think ). Not planning on doing too much tomorrow as the weather here is forecast to be awful....

A no-spend day today except for 72p for some finger rolls from Tesco's.

The weather's been a bit up-and-down today, managed to get to the park for some football earlier in between the showers. Boys went home at 6pm which means that as tomorrow is a BH and they're not here, it will be my first lie-in past 7am since the beginning of February:j :j . I get up for work at 6.15am in the week and weekends see my two little alarm clocks come running in before seven normally. I'd rather they were here though but I'm having them all day on Wednesday so that's good....:D

    Who's asking? :happyhear :D

I'll obviously still wake up at the same time ( stupid o'clock ) and lie in bed trying to get back off to sleep. Nowt much planned really - I have some paperwork that needs attention, there's the normal post-children housework to do and I ought to do some gumtreeing as well.

How about you? Packed diary again?

Been a very quiet day today. No work :j , no children :( but I got my lie-in after all, not surfacing till 9am...

I didn't even go out of the house till gone six such was the awful weather here. Still, it's made the garden greener anyway.

Sorted out my money situation as best I could, I certainly need to find more work to help things financially. I've set myself a deadline by which time I want my finances straightened out, my house tidied up ( still a dozen jobs to do ), my business paperwork all organised and to be on a diet that works for me. Bit of a life challenge really. I'm tired of being a diosorganised, sorry mess and giving myself a window to get everything sorted by a certain date might well be the carrot I need. Thursday June 12th is the date set...

Back to work tomorrow. Tonight I will be completing the first part of a 25,000 word serialisation of a story about the football team I support. The story will appear in every matchday programme next season, I have a meeting with the programme editor on June 9th and I need a few thousand words done by then. I'm setting myself a target of 500 words a day and that makes me feel like a real author.
