I'm up now, feeling full ( not surprisingly ) and off to the morning post. Straight off to London afterwards, getting there about 10.15am....:o

Back home now but only for a few moments then off to do the evening post run, back around 7.00pm.

Took nearly 3.5 hours to get to London even leaving at 8.00am. The last few times, I've gone ( and I've been 150 times in five years ), the traffic has been worse than ever....

Took over three hours back too and that's down hill. Sort of. I think.

Had a good evening. Went on Gumtree earlier and spotted a free 26" colour television with matching stand only five miles away. Texted the woman who said it was available so I went over and picked it up. Works a treat apparently and they're only getting rid because they've just bought a 40" plasma....

Just needed some batteries for the remote so popped into Asda and picked up a packet of ten along with a little shopping for tomorrow, total bill of £9.18. Spent £50.00 on petrol this morning for the London trip ( Tesco = 50 Clubcard points ) and had to cough up £8.00 for the congestion charge too...

Well you didn't stop to see me when you drove along the M4!!!

Well Done on the free Tv! How's the exercise getting on? Are you becoming friends with it?

So what has been happening in Mr Chip land today?

    Not much really, Lucy.:D

Did the morning post run, home for brekkie then popped out into town for some bits and bobs. Needed an extension lead for the new telly so bought one only to find it was 2m long and I needed about 2.5m... . Just been back up for another one...bought the boys a Tom & Jerry PS2 game off Amazon for £4.50 ( originally nearly twenty squid ) and also doing some invoicing on the PC too from yesterday's job.

The exercise bike has remained dusty as I was tired last night. Sitting in a car for 7.5 hours can be exhausting....

Would have loved to pop in on my way past but didn't know exactly where you are. Didn't really have time to shout "Luuuuuu
    ccccc
yyyyyyyy" at every office window in the town.....
