Quiet day today. Managed to do the morning and evening post runs done, a little bit of shopping ( £4.36, four Clubcard points ) and selected three Fantasy football teams for Euro 2008 starting on Sunday.

Have a meeting later on regarding the under-sevens team I help run then its a beer and an early night....:j

    Hi there,
so bummed that you (and lucy) live in a land far far away. There's a meet in Glasgow this weekend (i can't actually believe i'm going!) and you two are 2 DFW's that i would really really love to meet.

    humph!

I'm only 45 minutes from Glasgow, Maz. Just a shame that it's 45 minutes by Easyjet.... . I'd love to meet you too and Lucy. I suppose there's more chance of meeting Lucy as she's only 45 minutes from me...by road this time! :D

Got the boys round at the mo, picked them up from school and they've picked their Euro 2008 Fantasy Football teams and having tea now before football training at 6.00pm. :D

Spent very little today except three bread rolls earlier (81p) and a bag of crisps (33p). Football training tonight will be another three quid, mind you. No evening post run till Monday now and I'm off to the cricket at Nottingham tomorrow on a hospitality freebie with my friend Darren's company.:j

Sorry Maz, I just don't do weekends, especially during the summertime. The next eight weekends involve six football tournaments, my holiday, a netball match and a cricket match too...

I'd love to but it's not very DFW either really. One day I will though.

Long old day today and I'm tired to bits so won't post much now....

Up at 5.30am this morning, showered then my friend Darren picked me up and drove to Nottingham to watch the first day of the cricket test match. It was a hospitality suite we were in so we paid for nothing at all. We had coffee and biscuits on arrival, a match programme and club tie in a goodie bag, a five course meal at lunch, free drinks all day ( alcoholic and tea/coffee ) and coffee and cakes at tea plus obviously a free match ticket each with a fantastic viewing position.

I'll post tomorrow but right now, there's a pillow upstairs calling me....:D
