this is rubbish....17" CRT monitor. I would rather pay £10-£20 more and get a dell deal with a TFT monitor.

Tiny also have the worst customer service possible, as mentioned on watchdog on numerous occasions.

I'm guessing like most Computer magazines, Tiny and or their sister company Time spend a huge amount of money every month adverting in Computer Buyer?

precisely. and its more likely that Tiny, in the wake of these constant Dell deals, wanted this 'challenge' to build a cut price PC.

I am no supporter of Tiny or Time computers and usually would walk away from their systems. But Computer Buyer have a customer charter that they tack onto systems built by manufacturers for P.C tests in their magazines. It basically states that the computer should be supplied as reviewed for 6 weeks after the test and that the company deal promptly and fairly with complaints. They also check out their sales, production, and support departments prior to the tests. If the company does not adhere to the Fair Play charter set out in Computer Buyer then they name and shame them, withdraw awards and ban them from future tests.
It is a big deal for manufacturers to be in the tests as they are a shop window for their products.

Not a lot of consolation to you if you have a duff pc off them.

I suspect if they had actually checked Tiny's support like they state then this pc would never have been built in the first place! as Tiny have no support that would stand up to even the slackest of checks.

My first real PC was a Tiny PC - my second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth ones weren't - I think that says a lot.

We lost our warranty with Tiny when they went "bankrupt" and started trading again except with .com on the end of their name. We also had 21 engineers all of whom didn't know a thing about our PC and ended up replacing the motherboard 4 times, the DVD drive twice, and the CD-Rw once. they even managed to bend one of the pins on the P3 chip! Muppets!

Don't touch them with a bargepole! Talk about corruption in "developing nations" - let's sort out our own yard first.

No warranty available on this product.

^^ No thats something i wouldn't like to see. Please guys however good this deal seems to be, don't buy it, you will definatly regret it. At one time I had two laptops, an old dell (900hmz, 128 ram) and a new tiny (3ghz, 512 ram). I reformatted them both and the dell was still faster! So many problems with tinys, im suprised they are still allowed to trade.

There is a 3 year RTB warranty included.
Thanks for the feedback. It seemed like a good system, but built by a company who doesn't seem to have improved in terms of customer service. So I am off to see what Dell et al have to offer. Any suggestions?

That probably just means it comes with Supanet preinstalled as the ISP, as I don't think you can actually program a modem to only work with 1 ISP... I've never heard of anything like that anyway.

Nope it means it's been configured to only allow supanet to be dialed. A mate of mine bought a computer off Tiny about a year ago and he contacted me because he couldn't get it to connect to his ISP, They can be re-configured as I and others have stated.

By the way, my mate bought an all singing all dancing one off them and a few months later he was saying how crap it was :)

Dell offers much better value. Or you can check this Acer Aspire (T120E) for £206.45 delivered.
