Careful, your tone seems a little bullying...

Ahh I'm sorry for your loss x

DH told me that once when he was on tour with army he was asked to go to the office to take a phone call and to prepare for bad news. It was his mum telling him his sisters hamster was dead and that she (sis) was very upset. DH started laughing and got some funny looks from the officers! He was annoyed at first because you can't just phone him at work in the middle of an operation but it gave him a good laugh in the end.

Sorry just reread, I don't mean to make a joke of it.

Don't be daft evab. I found that quite funny - given he's in the army and what he has to deal with!

I was in a bit of a quandary as to tell my OH or not because he got his degree results today and he was soooo excited! But I decided I better tell him in case he goes looking for her later. He's quite upset and feels guilty for being all happy. I've told him George would want him to be happy.

Can't believe its just the 2 of us again now.

3 day weekend for me. I'm in bed bored and feeling rotten. Been up most of the night vomiting. Nice. Feel guilty for not being at work now that I've not been sick for 2 hours. But I guess they'd rather I stay home than pass it round.

I still feel poop anyhoo. I'm really cheesed off though. My teacher planner and folder and charger for my laptop is all at school. Means I cant do anything until monday now for school. I hope everything is planned for next week....fingers crossed.

Fortunately I'm not teaching Monday - it's review day and then Tuesday is activities day. Phew! Although I'm going to Alton towers and won't get back to school till about 7.30pm! And its then a 40 min drive home!!! BOO!

I also have my final obs a week today too. Boo.

Right paid off the credit card...FINALLY! So now it's mortgage overpayment time. Although OH is pulling faces over it which is a tad worrying. So if we ignore the £50 that OH had to put towards the credit card (my tax back paid off the rest), our mortgage OP should be £350 this month...providing I can convince him to actually do it! Fingers crossed.
