Seriously though you are working hard and rightly looking to make an impact in the role,do try to schedule your time off to include some downtime, any planning work you need to do and some "me time" to enjoy yourself. Hopefully this will recharge you for the dark days after the clocks go back to GMT.

Stuart is right. You need to relax a bit when you have time off. I'm off next week and I don't think I will be getting out of bed at all tomorrow!!!:rotfl:

To top my week off...I have OFSTED next Thursday! Boo....gutted. I'm soooo not playing that day. It's just rude!

Oh Lordy, that's stressful. One of my other NQT friends has them in too and she'll be in school all weekend. Good luck with it - half term not too far away now

Cheers folks, well it's 4.30pm and I'm yet to actually do anything of worth! I've been sat mooching around the house chatting about the future with my other half. We have a possible opportunity to move.

Its a bit complicated. My parents kept my childhood family home and rented it out when they moved to a smaller house. However, they hate where they are now and the tenants are moving out of the "family" house at the end of this month. Now, our house is too small for us if we want to have a family (which we want to do in the future), but the "family" house would be perfect (and I love it).

My parents were thinking of moving back into the "family" house but are worried it's much too big. So the possible plan is, we move into the "family" house, they move into our house and sell the one they are in now. We would have to give em the difference in value for the "family" house though.

Hmmmm.....my mum sounds very interested. We are yet to find out my dads opinion on the matter. I've gone all romantic on the matter now. It's got that dreamy tint to it in my head. Hmmmmm.....

We'd use solicitors though so it's all legal etc and there shouldn't be any chance of messing each other around (although I very much doubt my parents would).

We'll see....it's all a bit of a pipe dream really.

Anyhoo, I'm thinking I might actually do some school work shortly cos my hubby is going snowboarding with his mate, so I'll be home alone. Then I can get up early and get all the coursework marked by lunchtime and effectively have all tomorrow off too!!! I refuse to panic about Ofsted and worry about it. I don't care. lol. If I'm not good enough, I'm not good enough. If I am bonus. I'm not changing just cos some dude is coming into school.

I may of course change my mind come Wednesday evening. Ha ha ha.

This has to be the BEST thread that I've ever read on here!
I actually read it all the way through, and have never done that!
Twinklie, it sounds cheesy, but you are an absolute inspiration!
    Keep going girl!
