    Morning All!
Back to work for me today after four weeks.
Don't really want to go, but I've got to sometime. Been so busy over the last weeks that I haven't stopped. Bet I end up in tears before the day is out.:o

DS is asleep, must wake him in a minute. He's moping cos he's had a row with his girlfriend, and won't tell me about it. Kids, who'd 'av 'em?:rotfl:

(((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) to anyone who needs one. (including me!)

    Have a great day!

Work for me today, Katy came back on Saturday evening and the kitchen is a tip already, all her stuff is all over the suraces, stil not long now.
Lamb shank for tea, done in the SC, WM & DW are on, hubby will empty them later.
Redruby, hope things improve, my hubby has depression along with PTSS, he cannot cope with any form of stress, if pressurised he starts to drink, runs away & has strange episodes almost like psycosis (SP) it too early for me to spell it, lol.
Smokey, hope you get some good news soon.
Pen Pin hope you are ok, hugs to all.

    Morning Everyone

Managed a solid 6 hours, which isn't bad as I am a wimp at being on my own at night. Do it, have had to do it from time to time, but doesn't mean I like it. For someone who is very confident about everything else, it's daft! DH came home from nights once, years ago when we were first married, to find the sweeping brush leant up on the wall at the side of the bed. I had heard a noise in the night and had taken it back to the bedroom with me.:o

Hopefully some results, info and DH back home today. Hoping for a better day than yesterday, "wet and windy" though warm, dry 10-11 already here, fingers crossed as I have a washing mountain.

(((Hugs))) to Smoky, Redruby, Pen-Pin, stefeph and anyone else who needs or would like one.

Hi to everyone else. Take care

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • Good Morning

Lots to do today, all normal stuff but only a small amount of ironing. Pity - I wanted to do it watching Lewis which I Sky+ last night.

This house is still quite depressed about the footie result yesteday - DS especially so.

DS has footie after school so dont have to pick him up till 4.30 - the extra hour makes a big difference.

Left over chicken with salad, new pots and hm bread. Reminds me - need to put the bread on!

Hope you all have a great day.

(((Hugs - Redruby))) hope it gets sorted asap.

    Morning Everyone

Been awake since 4.45 and dd woke at 6. I'll be another one asleep at my desk especially as the piece of work I'm doing is boring as anything.

The house is clean and tidy and I'll give the bathroom a swish round when we've brushed our teeth. The WM is on and I'm about to load the DW with the breakfast pots. Tea tonight is the remains of yesterdays gammon with salad so that easy as well.

    Have a good day everyone

  • Morning all,

    :j I've got a new panasonic BM:j :j :j
I've been umming and arrring for months cos my old one (mellarware) was still going and I couldn't justify buying a new one. but got fed up with the flat doughy bread that more often than not came out of it so decided enough was enough and if I was ever going to get ds1 to eat hm bread instead of shop bought it had to have a better texture so i did it:eek: I went and spent £70 on the panasonic sd254 and the difference in bread is amazing it is soooo much better.
It was the wrong time to buy it a week before payday and it wasnt on special offer and i didnt use money off codes:o  - not very os but heyho. Once i had finally made the decision on which one to buy i decided to go for it. I bought it just before argos closed yesterday and the first loaf came out of it at about 10 pm last night. Havent got time to play with it today. Boys have got an inset day and we're going to the indoor adventure play place with their friends but am going to try a fastbake one when i get back to see what that comes out like. I am so chuffed! I need to get a life being this excited and pleased over a bm;)
Hope you all have a good day
(((hugs))) to redruby and smokey and anyone else who needs one.

Edited to say: first washload out even tho its freezing atm. dinner tonight is dependant on what time we get back today. Boys back to school tomorrow and i am back to work so must get ready for that today as well.

Don't know why I bother to go to bed, was so cross with OH I couldn't sleep and DS threw up again last night just as I thought he was getting better. I just get so frustrated that my OH still acts like a single man.

HUGS TO HILLSTEP, REDRUBY AND SMOKEY and anyone else who wants one.

DORRY I found my car insurance quote through moneysupermarket, but it was the Post Office and had £50 cashback. Good luck today.

Am off to hang washing out. Need to go shopping soon and have work tonight.

    Have a good day all.

Been up for about an hour now - last day before starting new job tomorrow!
Trying to work out what to do for lunch tomorrow - Might go and see if I can find a tiny container for balsamic vinegar as I like to take salads with me but I don't like soggy salad :rotfl:
Havng hair done at 12 - don't worry I get a good deal :) and might go and spoil myself and have my nails done. New job is well paid and turning out well groomed is part and parcel unfortunately :(
Also need to wash the car and then there is the less savoury job of the poo duty in the back garden... oh how posh! :rotfl:
Not sure about this weeks meal plan - it's gone a bit to pot sadly so we'll just have to see what the week brings :)

Hope everyone has a good day and a more OS day than me!!!
