Hi all - just popped back on with a coffee before I go to the gym. I've had several interruptions this morning - some nice ones, like my Mum, though, so I'm not complaining! In the midst of all my reorganising of my office and the spare bedroom - where all my craft stuff is - a shelf fell down (with loads of books on it) and I can't find the 'holder-uppers' so I've just texted DH to get me some when he goes to the hardware store later.

MRS MIX - I hope your the pain in your joints eases up now that the weather is warmer; well, warmer during the day, anyway. It's still quite cold at night and first thing in the morning.
Welcome back to ICECUBEQUEEN and welcome to POPPET and ISHBEL - you'll love it here and soon feel like one of us. This thread is very supportive and encouraging and a lot of laughs and hugs too!

SMOKY and REDRUBY - thinking of you both.

Well, I've finished my coffee so I'm off to the gym.

    See you all later.

My friend nipped round to tell me she had seen him in the surgery, still waiting when she came out, but guess he was seen quite quickly as he came back whilst she was having a cuppa...........

Hello all, haven't been in the daily for a while!
Daughter gone up to Edinburgh for a few days which she'll enjoy but I will miss her! Dropped her off at railway station and went into Next 'for a look' and ended up spending £78!! However, in my defence, I don't buy clothes very often and now have 2 lovely skirts and tops so am pleased. Went into Clarks and *nearly* bought lovely boots but i have anyway so didn't. I was looking at nice flat shoes and had a brain wave - I'll try to dye the pale blue ones I bought last summer. They are still stocking them but I want brown or black now!! So...I'll give it at go.
Got an email from the library to say that a simple living book I had reserved is in, so I'll go in for that.
Dinner will be left over corned beef hash. Does anyone know if it would keep another day? I still have loads left and made it yesterday. I put left overs straight in the fridge so it has been kept cold.
Have fun today and ((((hugs)))) to those who need them
