wannasavemoney, there is absolutely nothing sad about being so pleased with your new Panny:D Some on here will try to convince you otherwise, or accuse you of *unnatural* feelings towards it, but you and I know better:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: It does make lovely bread so :p:p:p to them:D :D

I can't think who you may be referring to(coughharibocoughaussielasscoughcough)
CM but let them get on here and start dissing my BM:naughty: and there will be war:p :rotfl:

Must let the poor thing have a rest. Its on its third loaf at the moment. Contrary to my post this am, could not resist putting a loaf on timer while we were out for use as sandwiches tomorrow of course and no sooner had it finished it had the makings of a granary loaf bunged in. - Hope there is not a society against the overworking of bm's around otherwise i'm in trouble.;)
I still can't get over the lovely bread tho:drool:

    Evening :hello:

Hugs smoky, redruby and mrs_mix, and welcome to the newbies!

Got a slight headache this evening - hoping the wine will fix it! :D Have had one glass already, and could do with a quick trip down the road for some things they didn't have at Tesco yesterday, so will have a second glass when I get back :) and will be stopping at that - am trying to curb my habit of finishing off a bottle once it's open  in favour of half a bottle at a time, three or four nights a week. Alcohol is my biggest vice and no doubt a factor in the fact that I am finding it hard to lose weight despite going to the gym 3-4 times a week :o

Talking of the gym, my Quidco cashback on PruHealth has FINALLY gone from "tracked" to "received" after nearly FIVE MONTHS! So, what with that and some cashback on "odds and ends" purchases I'm due to be paid £117 at the end of this month. That's great, because I never plan cashback payments into my expenditure until I actually receive them, and it will fill all the holes I anticipated in my budget this month. However, I've just had notice of my annual rent increase (fortunately only tiny, as I'm on a shared ownership scheme and it is inflation-linked) so will be paying out more from April

Didn't get round to any cooking yesterday so will make a big batch of macaroni cheese for the freezer this evening. I did finish my opera review though :T

By the way, am I the only person whose brain originally didn't see the word "nod" in the following sentence:
However I did have a wee nod this afternoon watching mindless telly!

    ;):o:D:D

    Love Rzl xx

Edit: forgot to say congratulations to lilmisskitkat on your BOY!

  • Hello Everyone,:hello:

Haven't posted for a week or so but have been lurking. Back to work today after half term so am shattered now! DS in bed snoring already. He went to his Dad's Wed to Sun so had some quality me time (well actually I sorted out his bedroom and play room)! It was nice to know that when it was tidy no-one was going to come along and untidy it!:j

Hugs to those in need, special hugs to Smokey, hope DH improved when you went to see him today. I would offer to look after your kids but am too far away. My prayers are with you.

Hugs also to those who are poorly or have poorly families.
Hilstep I hope work went ok.

Hello to all the newbies, the people on this site are lovely.

Littlemiss - a boy, aw I love babies!!

I finally get Katy of the PC & decide to surf for a half an hour whilst waiting for my flapjacks to cook, in thet half hour the phone has rung 4 times, every time the caller asked for Mrs Zuseem, it's a foreign call centre, this seems to be the nearest they can get to pronouncing my name. I explained I'm a member of the TPF & all I got was a load of cheek & the last guy was extremely rude & I'm extremely cross, I'm now ignoring the phone despite the fact that it keeps ringing. On a brighter note, Katy is now answering the calls as she is waiting for a call from a friend. She can't understand what the call centre staff are saying & they can't understand her, it sounds like a match made in heaven!

Every night for a week I have had calls from British Gas which I suspect are actually from india. It's a different person each time and they obviously don't understand my broad .... er estuary english accent so they just shout louder. they obviosly don't understand the words "please don't call me again"
