Though you could just butcher an RJ11 and wire the two inner pins from the RJ11 to pins 2 & 5 of a BABT master socket.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Received both today, but having trouble setting it up :(
I've got a Telewest (SURFBoard) broadband modem, not a router and it doesn't have an ethernet port. I've got an extra network card already installed on my comp - is there a way to connect via that does anyone know?

I'm not sure, but I believe it is as this is how people set of an Asterisk system.

I would connect it to the PC, then connect a phone, then from the phone dial **** to enter the setup menu, then dial 110# to find out what the IP address has been set at.

Then in your browser enter the IP address, and there you can enter the setup page for the PAP2.

Hi BoxTech, thanks for the advice.

The only thing I can't understand though is the fact there is 2 phone sockets and only 1 ethernet socket on the LinkSys adapter. Should it be the PC or the modem that is connected directly to the LinkSys?

You are going to have to connect the LinkSYS to the PC.

To the free network card or the card that the modem is currently connected to?

To the free network port, otherwise you won't have internet access.

Right, I have now moved and looking at setting this up again.

OK, i've now got the modem connected to the PC via USB. Ethernet connection between VoIP adapter and modem, and phone connected to VoIP adapter.

Dialing **** then 110# advises 192.168.2.160 but when I enter that into my browser it just comes back with "cannot find server" (IE) and "problem loading page" (FF). Any idea?

*edit* I can get onto my modem config via 192.168.100.1 if that means anything
