Yes never quite know what he will react to.
Good news today:
Fairly low spend - £5 to OH for milk and sugar. £10 for monthly Brownie and Guide subs.
Moneyback madness have emailed to say my first payment £39.84 is on its way :j .
Will try to be really good this month and see if I can use the £40 from MBM, £26 from envirofone and any extra money raised to pay off £119 towards loan. That will take me to the 10% paid mark. Lets hope for some Amazon movement, Carboot luck and ebay inspiration. Cant use the £66 yet until rather large cc bill (1.6k  ) is paid on the 14th. Other back up plan is to use any of my expences reclaim that is over my guestimated £100.:j0 -
Hi Wendy Any luck selling the car yet? I know you were gonna use Autotrader (I am thinking of doing the same) - any good do you think??
Keep smiling.0 -
Just to end a hug...hopefully thing wil soon improve but as you say you cant do it all. OH has to take some responsibility too
Hope he will go to see GP...

Well done Wendy on the low spend day. I could do with some of those myself.
Good luck for the rest of the month. You can do it.

No luck with car yet Angela just two odd emails thats read like scams. I have lowered price on Autotrader and prepared a card with pic on back for Tesco free ads in store. Autotrader is good in that I can amend the ad at any time. Not ready to ebay yet because I read you pay fees even if it doesnt sell. Thinking about the local rag again but with all this advertising its adding up. Currently looking at less than a £1k profit at the moment when we were hoping for £1.5k. Hope you have more luck.
Thanks for hug ISOM they always do down well. OH has made an effort to be less miserable today. Will mention GP to him again soon. I gave him a back rub last night and today invited him when I went with mutual friend to see a house so I think that has helped.
Thanks Dizzy, hope I can get refocused and pay the extra £119 this month and then £75 a month extra after that. If/When the car goes that and the overpayments should really help the DFD.
My budget isnt nearly as tight as others so should be fairly doable. I like some leeway though for times like the last week.
Night night all off to watch traffic cops and tell kids for the fifth time to think about sleep when they are in bed!:j0 -
Spends today are 45p choc bar and £18.70 at tesco for top up. The kids just seem to get through so much! Struggled to find things for their lunch today so have:
Brought BOGOF ritz biscuits (not ideal for lunch so last resort and a treat), cheese strings, bread and sausage rolls.
Baked: Breadsticks and in middle of hot x buns.
Also topped up on Milk c/o Mr T 2 for £2, crisps and cheese (so I can make some cheesey biscuits for snacks as well). Trying to make sure thay have a slightly more healthy choice of things to snack on. Love some of the easy recipes on the Grocery Challenge thread. Forgot yogurts and fruit but basket was overflowing got more than planned so no room to think of anything else.
Work wise things ok managed to get two reports done over the last two days. Still have one report outstanding but tomorrow I prep for a visit next week and I am out on Fri. So not fully up to date but an improvement.:j0 -
Hi Wendy, glad your managing to catch up on work. Sorry about the car though, fingers crossed it'll go soon.
You sound a lot more positive, hope things are better for you.

Felt like a long day at work ended up an admin day rather than what was planned. Good that I needed to do the admin and expences came to £200 so when that clears near month end I should be able to put a chunk towards loan. Would help if £20 doesnt magically disappear out my account over night! Got £10 of it back. Bad is that I still have to do said work at some point when Ill fit it all in I dont know. Speed is not easy for me.
Todays spends so far £2.00 lunch £1.42 water and choc at hospital to get parking change and £2 parking at said hospital. Hospital not planned just helping a friend.
Putting up tent later for Guides weekends so hope weather holds out. Need to do dinner but head hurts so resting here for a bit.:j0
