Have been searching for days for a mobile phone contract to replace the pay and go system I currently use and found a cracker of a deal and YES it costs nothing. You can get either a Nokia 6060 or 6030 on o2 with 200 anytime any network minutes and 100 texts (double texts and minutes for the first 3 months) You just have to remember to claim back the monthly rental costs on the specified dates (use the tart alert to remind you when to claim - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1100005324,69788,)

I got a deal from mobileshop just over 6 months ago with a nokia 3120 and they have told me they are sending my cheque out in a few days times. I made sure I sent the claim by recorded delivery so they seem ok to me.
Hope this helps someone!0 -
Thanks Martin, great advice to negotiate with Vodafone before switching. Spent a staggering £2503! last year. Yes that's right..crazy! as was always going over my free minutes and getting wacked. Shopping around the for best deal (Orange 600mins £32.50 or 900mins £46.67) Was able to get 500mins, 100txt and International Call Saver, (Aust 24p vs 99p) and new phone for £32.50 per month (inc vat) and no switching hassle or cashback palava This is Vodafone's 3G tariff but they did agree to give it to me as an existing customer.0

I've just seen a deal with O2 at mobileshop for a contract with 200 anytime mins and 100 texts free per month(doubled for first 3 months), free insurance for 3 months, free line rental for 12 months and with cashback at certain months. The handset isn't much kop but its only 99p per month. Does this sound like it could be a real deal?0

Hi All,
We got a FAB deal through MSE last year - was "3" 600 package via carphone warehouse @ £2.99/month. We've been looking for a similar deal through a reputable company (having seen the BBC Watchdog show on unscrupulous comapanies), & can't find anything similar that we'd go for unless proven!!. Can Martin or anyone else help, as we're buying a new home & any cheap mobile deal like the one we're on would be helpful!!
Thanks
Amanda
