    Hello,

I absolutely love my Clubcard Plus as my points have gone through the roof! I'm a bit annoyed at how the new Tesco Pay at the Pump machines don't seem to recognise Clubcard Plus as a payment card. Anyone know if there's going to be anything done about this? Also, I got issued a pin with my card, however as it's a chip and pin card, I have no idea what the pin is for - anyone know??

    Thanks in advance!

Your first sentence is a joy to read, spuriosity - vindication of all I bash on about when trying to convert peeps to CC+.
re: other 2?s- just Freephone 0800-505555 and ask to be tfr'd to someone who can sort this one out. It should be possible; CC+ works when one pays over counter for petrol after all. Yes, I have a PIN no too, but haven't used it. Perhaps we should both read back through our literature which came with card - otherwise it's a Freephoney again.

I too am racking up the points thanks to Clubcard Plus - I'm looking forward to August's mailing now, as that will be the first quarter I'd have used only the Clubcard Plus - it'll be exciting to see just how many points I can raise!

I've never had a problem paying at the petrol pump with Clubcard Plus. You do need to put the card in twice though. The first time is like you would with an ordinary Clubcard card and you put it in again as a payment card.

Regarding the pin number, I use mine at the cashpoint to check the balance on my Clubcard Plus. I tend to deposit money onto it once a week, and, because I use it often, it's an ideal way of keeping track of how much money I have left on it.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for this jgw - I guessed as much re:PIN no, but tend to look online most mornings, as with Bank; just another little daily discipline.
I like paying in person when there are vouchers for schools etc. though - usually get many more than strict entitlement.
Mine go to mumoftwins' twins, Adam and Felicity, - they've got a huge count and share job this time!

Thanks to everyone for all the advice. I have used the Clubcard Plus on the petrol pumps before, however they all seem to be converting to now incorporate the security of chip and pin (it won't recognise your Clubcard Plus as a payment card, just for points) - makes sense I suppose. Hopefully they'll add chips or come up with another way of using the Clubcard Plus at the new pumps...

I have had confirmation that account set up and card on it's way, but in booklet enclosed it only mentions direct debit or sending cheques to top the card up. Please can someone confirm that you can still top up at customer services with cash.

    Absolutely and definitely YES!!!

My hubby gets paid weekly, and we use his wages for food, petrol etc. Every Friday when he gets paid, I go to cash machine, withdraw enough money to cover Tesco purchases, take it to CS and pay it onto Clubcard Plus and it's available immediately.

However, I have found that cash credits at a weekend may take a little longer to be available, but other people may not have had this problem.

    Welcome to Double Points :j :j :j :T :T :T

I always top my card up when I go into the shop and it is on my card when I have finished my shopping ready to pay.
  • Can I run a CC+ alongside a platinum mastercard to get 2 lots of mailings?

Or am I better to get OH to get a CC+?

Or can he apply and I get an additional card (assuming his name would be on a sole card and I wouldn;t be able to use it?)
