Tesco Clubcard Plus - Double Points

Hi, I sent my application form off a couple of weeks ago.
Last week I received a letter from them asking us to sign and return to prove identity etc.
My question is, how long will I now have to wait??? I want double points!!! :T
Just didn't think it would take quite this long..........:rolleyes:

My whole application process took about a month, so for you, a week or so should be about right.

Really? So say you've got £50 balance on your Clubcard Plus card, and you don't have a credit arrangement, and your shopping comes to £100, the payment will go through?

Sounds a bit too scary for me to try!

Am I missing something here? I've got a Tesco Visa Card, so using that and my Clubcard I already get 2 points per £1 spent, and surely this is easier and better for people than a Clubcard Plus Card, which you can only use in Tesco and have to do all this topping up stuff?

Hi, just a quick question, I have applied and recieved a letter back to sign and send back but at the bottom it has Password.........., I can't remember if it asked for a password on the application form and even if it did I have no idea what it is. just wondered if anyone else knew if you have to have a password or if you just simply sign it and send it back?? sorry if I sound thick lol

yes it does ask you for a password and suggests using mothers maiden name

I have a Clubcard + and my fiancee has a Clubcard.

She has the quarterly vouchers that you keep to build up for deals tucked away, she also has tokens to use in store i.e. 25 points if you buy x.

Question, can we transfer her balance to my cc+ account ?,

Can we transfer her saved deal vouchers to my account ?.

Can we transfer the 25 extra points vouchers to my account ?.

OR, is it best to use the 25 extra vouchers to increase her points total, use the saved tokens to get a deal and THEN transfer the balance to my cc+.

Has anyone any experience with mistakes made on their Clubcard plus account. I have been overcharged £36 plus and they are looking into it! I'm not too worried as I always keep my receipts so I have proof - would this qualify for dtd??
Also I'm paranoid re being overdrawn and adding interest however small (not giving money to Tesco for nothing!!) so towards the end of the month I always check the balance via the ATM before starting to shop. Its the only time I use my PIN.

Ok, so I made my application....... my application was accepted...... I received my cards......but no Welcome Pack
I called CS last week and was told to return the activation reply slip even though I didn't know the account number (they said the Welcome Pack would prob cross in the post), so I sent it off....... and then nothing

So, I called CS again this morning ( I am so anxious to start using my card and get double points:T ) and asked when I would be able to start using it...... registered for telephone banking whilst on phone and was told my card was activated......

However, I've noticed that the DD hasn't been set up yet and I still don't have a PIN...... though would imagine I will only need that when I want to use an ATM as the Clubcard Plus isn't Chip & Pin is it??

Has anybody else experienced this? Can I use my card if I put money onto it at the store CS? Was going to try it today but money's a bit tight and I didn't want to put all of my shopping money on the Clubcard Plus card only to find it's rejected at the checkout!! Cos without my PIN I couldn't get it out at the ATM......Phew, are you still with me or have I confused you?? :T

Whenever I ring CS they seem so laid back and never seem to answer my questions without taking me off on a tangent!!

Any help appreciated!!
