Oooh, it's quiet in here!

Sorry folks, I've just noticed I haven't posted in over a week! How shameful for an Original Poster!
Firstly, welcome storm :hello:, you are now member number 56!

Well, I'm with you LC - spending has been cut right down. I now have £140 to last me 10 days, which is astounding! :T AND NO BANK CHARGES THIS MONTH, YAY!!!!!!!
I'm managing to do my challenge for April (no unnecessary cosmetics/toiletries), but I have to admit it's easier than last month's (no spending on DD)!

What do I get for as an 18th birthday present for the girl who has EVERYTHING?!?!?!

Hope you're all well - I fear an awful lot of compulsive spending is happening judging from the recent emptiness of this thread! Come on, out you come from hiding, wherever you are!!

Hi there, thought I'd drop a line as I love this thread. Have not been around fora while (I usually only read) but this was like reading about myself. Just wanted to say I hope I can support anyone who spends for the hell of it like myself and hopefully will be supported. Although people tend to snigger at spenders, and I do myself when I'm talking about spending, its not a laughing matter. I can spend my last £1 on rubbish in the £1 shop when I know I'll need that £1 tomorrow. I always think something will turn up, sometimes it does and sometimes it dosn't. That's when I turn to the dreaded credit card or even worse borrow my husbands bank card and buy something on the internet. Love all the comments and look forward to writing some more.

Hallo Poor...yay! It's weird - have spent no money for almost a month now. Think it might be because I had to ask OH to pay my part of the mortgage this month - so feel like a bit of a loser. It's good news tho, even spent a couple of hours on Oxford st this week 'browsing' and didn't spend a penny!

Hi CS - glad to see you're doing well too. Does this mean the thread - tho it's been a tad quiet recently is working?!?!?!?

Was about to polish my halo in celebration of a NSD, but then *duh* remembered I spent £16 on beads and components to make jewellery, but it was stuff I had run out of therefore needed to order so as to make more money out of it

Yeah getting there. The pub (my second job) opens tonight so that should be interesting!! LOL

I've sold my 'puter so I can now buy my laptop which I'm quite excited about! That is once I've packaged the computer up! LOL

Today is my last working day for four days and then I've got three days of work next week and I've got next Friday off, but that is becuase I've got a funeral to go to.

Only bad thing at the moment is paypal are taking forever to transfer funds in to my bank account and I literally have nothing at all. I've had to borrow £5 off OH to buy some fags and I've nearly smoked them all already!!! *cries*

Hi peeps - where you all gone to??? I was VERY good and only spent £100 when in Barcelona over the weekend:T BUT I am lusting over a beautiful new dress - I know I'll give in. Oh well, I have been doing pretty well recently:eek:
