Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Hi all. Well I've been good and bad this weekend. I did succumb to boots.com, but got some bargains that will save me money in the long run;)

I ironed for 2 hours today, having spent £26 on coat hangers, it inspired me to get sorting my wardrobes out. I'd forgotten about some lovely clothes I have. eek. Sign of a spendaholic ?!?!?! I'd usually send my ironing out to get it done as I HATE it, it's been sitting in the corner for 4 months! If I do another couple of hours tomorrow I'll have saved £50. :D

I've seen some gorgeous padded coat hangers online that are white and embroidered in silver 'my wedding dress' am very tempted - even for £14:eek:. But think I'm just being sentimental as it was 2-year anniversary this week.

Will be listing some more bits on ebay this evening so hopefully that will bring in money to cover the costs of this week's naughtiness.
    Save me from spending...

Think I need a number. I've had so much work to do my head is completely fried, and I've just thought 'I should buy myself something to cheer me up' but looked at the clock and realised all the shops are shut. BUT then pops into my head, ahh but Tesco is open 24/7! :( x

    Hi All,

A no spend day for me too. Well I haven't even got dressed to be honest, still in my nightie and it's time for bed too.

I've been searching the house for over two hours for a purse I sold on ebay and can;t find it anywhere in the house. The strange thing is, I sold that purse last year to another buyer and couldn't find it then, so refunded her.
Then a year later, I found it by accident, and relisted it using the old photos I had.
I sold it yesterday and now have the same problem, it's gone missing again.
I have all my ebay stuff together, so god knows where it is, I feel such a berk :o

I've emailed the buyer and informed them of my missing item and will look again tomorrow.

Have to go to docs tomorrow as I'm not well, and presume I will have to pay for a prescription for whatever they give me.
Oh and I need some bread and other little bits and bats.
Will keep away from the other shopss though as I can't afford to spend anymore for a while.
    Bye for now xx
  • Well as a no spend challange to myself, this weekend has gone TOTALLY t*ts up!! LOL

Spent loads - stuff hasn't gone off my cards yet and I can remember which stuff I bought on which card so it will be fun trying to work it all out later! Or in fact I might wait until tomorrow when its all come off the accounts!

  • Deary me, what has been going on here for the past few days?!?!? Have to say, I'm just as bad as everyone else. I let myself down with my March challenge just TWO DAYS before the end!!!! I bought my daughter a couple of bits from ELC on Saturday, but I did have a 20% off voucher, so ended up spending just £7. Gutted really, but she was soooooo poorly, she needed something to cheer her up!
Anyway, feeling brighter today, my birthday has been re-arranged for this Friday, so that's made me happy, and DD is back on fine form.

erm, £26 on coathangers?????? I'm shocked!

Ok I am here - I should be thrown out this thread every time I spend I don't want stopping I just want to confess!

Currently on my spend list on ebay is 30th birthday toilet paper, a bear, a badge, wrapping paper and a t shirt that says I am not 30 I am 25.35 + VAT

I don't want stopping its hubbies birthday and so far he has cost me nowt caus I sold everything on ebay and used vouchers but I admit these will cost although I have some more auctions finishing.

I can't wait to see his face when he goes to wipe his bum on 30th paper - he does not want to be 30 at all!

We are off to Gretna Green which I booked a cheap travelodge last year and the fuel and food will be paid with via Quidco - I hope lol

Oohh, that's a bit mystical (the purse thing!) Have you checked it for any winning (unclaimed) lottery tickets? You're clearly not meant to part with it! LOL !
