    Welllll

Bought papers this am, but nothing else :)

Then MIL wanted to pop out to local craft centre, so I took her and she bought me some beads :) as part of my Easter pressie- bless her. I was a bit uneasy about her buying them (new independent Millie :) ) so announced I was going to make her a necklace with some of them

I also need to buy some essential jewellery maing supplies on line, which I can justify...and OH told me to treat myself to something yesterday when I went shopping with his money, but I didn't, as I wanted something I could make money out of instead, so he is buying the bits :)

I set myself a challenge to make £200 worth of jewellery this BH weekend. So far am on £120, but I am doing a 12-hour shift tomorrow (double time) so had better crack on tonight :)

Hoping for a NSD tomorrow due to muchas work....

    Hello Happy Easter all :easter_ba

May I join your thread please? I find it all good reading as I'm exactly the same as you all.

Some days I just have to buy something even if it's only a chocolate bar and I don't have to have it, just want it.

Today I've been a good girl at work. I even took sandwiches in and chocolate and only bought two drinks for 20p each and a piece of toast for 15p. So I only spent 55p the whole day, I'm in shock.
I took someones advice on here and only took the money I needed into work and then I couldn't spend anymore.
It felt good, but not sure how long it will last.

I have so many clothes in my wardrobe, and some are a Size 10 right up to a Size 20 which I'm between a Size 16/20 now.I kid myself that one day I will be that Size 10 again, but am a naughty girl and cheat a lot, so...........
I'm having a good clearout and ebaying some of them. :T

If anybody likes Baileys, do what I do and buy Asdas Irish Knights, it's absolutely lovely and creamy and tastes just like Baileys, if not better and only costs £3.17 a bottle.
If I come across any other cheap buys, I will tell you all,. as I'm really trying to change.

    xxxx

    Brilliant recommend:T

@rse - I love Baileys and was in ASDA earlier and was (not in the booze aisle for once:rotfl:) thinking about how I fancied some Baileys but couldn't afford it, now £3.17 I could have stretched to.

I am sure the official welcoming committee will be along shortly but in the meantime - welcome to the world of those who find it hard to hold themselves back.

  • Evening all!!! Just been watching the Fixer - yum yum. Anyway sorry..........

I've spent £7.50 today on a chinese and £60 on petrol. *cries* I get paid tomorrow so some frantic money shifting is required! But at least it was essential spending. And as I'm not at work tomorrow (woo hoo) I've got to go food shopping. Whats the betting I end up coming home with LOADS of half price easter eggs!! LOL

I was working for 12-hours, so only spent 90p on some chips, which I promtly projectile vomited back up (TMI)

Was meant to be working this am, but have a nasty pukey bug (see above) so NSD today as I am holed up. Problem is, for this job I don't get paid if I don't work, so will need to make some more jewellery today to make up for it...
  • Good Morning everyone I hope you all had a nice Easter :D

Well I didn't get any Easter eggs as we don't buy them for each other in my family. I don't mind as I don't actually like the chocolate that the eggs are made out of anyway (I know I know I'm odd :p )

I had a NSD on Sunday and I didn't leave the house as I was decorating my spare room. I broke the roller though so had to go to the shops yesterday to get another one and I thought Wilkensons was open at 9 but it wasn't open until 10 so I went to Tescos and then the sports shop to kill some time (bad idea!!!) In Tesco I bought batteries (essential but noew broken the smoke alarm trying to change them  ), Baby clothes for when my friends baby is born anyday now as she is 9 days over due (essential and 20% off :D ) and Delia Smith's How to Cheat at cooking Book (non essential   but a great book ;) )

In the Sports shop I bought a badminton racket (esstential and only £2.99 as it had 70% off :D ) and two new tops for exercise wear (non essential but also £2.99 each in the sale)

In Wilkensons I did get the the new roller and bin bags I went in for but also came out with two new doormats for my house, which i didn't really need but will finish the rooms when I have finished decorating. I also oput £20 petrol in my car.

I am decorating the kitchen today so a NSD, apart from the Tescos shopping being delivered tonight (between 9pm-11pm, the cheapest delivery slot of the week :D ), that should keep me going for a while.

Mille - do you sell the jewellery that you make? The party I went to on Thursday was excellent, The woman doing the party makes all the stuff herself and it was all reasonably priced and truely beautiful. We also got to take the things we bought home with us whihc makes a change from these tyolw of parties. It was a really lovely girly night with snacks, alcohol and jewellery. I'm sure she made quite a bit of money from us. Sorry if you are already doing this just thought it might be a good idea.

Well I'm off the start the Kitchen, the good thing about decorating is I am having a good clear out and have found some stuff to sell at a carboot sale I'm going to do with my Step Mum and I have found loads of stuff I forgot I had. Its like shopping in my house :rotfl:

    Have a good day everyone

I didn't manage to stop smoking so spent money on that plus junk in shop, food I didn't need etc... magazines and papers. • Morning all..... I need telling off!!! My flatmate last night made some comment about me needing to sort out my chocolate problem.... so I joking carried on yeah and my shopping problem and my smoking problem and my money problem... funny how it all links into one isn't it!!! An inner part of my brain rebelled yesterday and said why shouldn't you have a new book (I bought four) and a new pair of jeans (got two in the end) you work hard... honestly think thats my problem lol! Worst thing is that I don't particularly feel guilt at having spent the money or regret that I can't do all the stuff I'm supposed to this month...

Oh well must work harder at not spending next month cos I'm takinga a seriously large pay cut to get out of a job I hate and back into a job I love :)
