O Poor,,, ur sellin I am not... What do u sell?, on ald bay?, (Other than children)...... I thought that was dead funny even though it may have been taken outta text..........
Hello
Am flogging some clothes at the moment (mainly monsoon stuff) although I am sure that I have lots of other bits and bobs that can go (a still wrapped perfume I don't use, odd bits of jewelery - won't get much but clears a space, odd bits of stuff that go with phones that I don't own any more, some handbags, more clothes etc etc)
To be fair - when you have had a spending habit like mine you have quite some amount of carp knocking around.
Nothing is going to make my fortune but every little helps£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Well done Jennyred!!!!
I have managed to be good since my last slip up - but not counting on it lasting - off out for the day to the sea-side tomos - loads of random crap for me to buy there!!!
And as its a mini holiday - (away from home = holiday) then im technically allowed to spend
Have just got home and i spent a total of £25 - not too bad i guess - hubby decided to shout a lot of it so not really as bad as i predicted!0 -
Number 12 checking in! Shoes arrived and unsurprisingly didn't fit!! So I've now got to post them back on Monday. Gah. Handbag hasn't arrived yet tho so I'm getting rather on edge!
And to make a bad week worse I've only got a couple of watchers on about half a dozen bits and pieces listed - mainly next clothes!!! Next used to sell really well. Not sure why they don't now!
Will have to see what else I can get rid of - although I'm sure I got rid of most of it before!0 -
Number 31 checking in. Good week for me- no compulsive spends, although I have been pretty bad at taking lunch into work so have wasted money there.
I did go to Boots today, but only bought things I needed for holiday week after next. I was so tempted by the Lancome gift when you buy two items (I do use Lancome so would be buying things I use), but I told myself I would think about it for a week and buy it next weekend if I still really want to!
All the more impressive as I have just got a bonus from work, so the shopaholic me has been desperate to spend it, but the DFW me is going to put it towards debts! Dull, but I feel good about it, although we did treat ourselves to a curry Friday!

No. 11 checking in. No compulsive spends as such but have spent far too much out on the lash (including a lovely and very posh afternoon tea and champagne based drinks this afternoon - NOT at all DFW although it was budgeted for). Would have bought some new shoes today (long and ridiculous story) but didn't as they looked AWFUL with the dress I was wearing - obviously I was all dressed and and on way to posh afternoon tea whenI decided that I wanted to wear different shoes, ones that I didn't already own and therefore needed to buy - lol.
Phew - a near miss, incident averted by a wardrobe mis-match.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

well actually i did buy a fleecy blanket for £2.99 when i bought petrol the other day... not quite sure why? altho it is quite cute and handy to have i'm sure!
not!
Erin took the blanket to bed yesterday, and was curled up all evening with it on the couch, said it was the best cosiest blanket in the world ever, so i think it was a sound investment!
And she was still wrapped in it this morning, with her duvet on the floor, so i'm not beating myself up about that particular purchase!!!
I did have some other needless spends on the weekend... £4.50 on a chunky silver bangle to wear to hen night mid month, theme is metallic. I'm not buying a new outfit as my xmas party dress (which i got 4 wears out of!) is black n silver, so i can justify £4.50 on a bangle can't i?
£6 bottle of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume, love this but thought it was discontinued... so pleased to see it at a bargain price and had to be bought!
plus wine/cards for mothers day and MIL's birthday which is today... and it's my birthday today too and have had a no spend day so far! Good eh? took a packed lunch to work as well, which was an effort today!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
oh sign me up too. I felt so upset on saturday about my car (400 to fix and its worth less than that!) i nipped into TK Maxx and bought a new cotton wrap around cardigan for 17.99. after having bought a tshirt and cardigan in H&M for 20 the previous week. grrrr - am going to take them back tomorrow promise!total debt at lightbulb 18th April 2007:idea: £42367.60:eek: DFW Nerd No 725.
