Another thing I thought you could try is under your fasthosts account login, under domain registration settings there's a menu for suspend email & web hosting. This enables you to completely override all web forwarding. Do you have that option?

Ok thanks for that - I've now done that and forwarded it baclk to my tiscali holding page... I think it takes 72 hours to come into force, but rather that than those little shysters smearing their visual vomit all over my domain....

Well done scrapper, yes it takes a while to propogate.

In the mean time do what I said with nominet.

Well at the very least it's breathing space until you can properly determine what's happened. It's a pity you couldn't get through to fasthosts they're very good on the phone in my experience.

Yes it's definitely worth getting everything squared away with nominet, especially for the long term. First port of call is always with the registrar (i.e. ukreg/fasthosts) but Nominet are the governing body and very important to make sure they've definitely got the correct details.
