What's the problem, this is a promotion for MOTHER'S DAY celebrations!

I suppose when blokes can do 40 hours labour and then push the baby out, tearing in half (or thereabouts) in the process, having stitches all the way up to their bums for weeks and not be able to sit down or sleep through the night for several months ahead, when they have to have their tits mangled to smithereens to feed the baby ETC ETC ETC (I could see a rant developing, here, so I shall stop while I'm winning LOL),

    THEN

they will be able to claim a discount for Mother's Day!

    Caterina

and this has what to do with this promotion?

we all know conception is the hardest part, the rest is a doddle...thats what i tell the wife....she always hits me though, ive no idea why

Ouch, that was a somewhat dumb oversite on my part :)

Just as long as they have a father's day promotion to the same value, I'll let them off.

    ;)

    I totally agree! :-)

lighten up guys, it's just a bit of mothers day fun!

students get 10 or 15% discounts on loads of things, is this discrimination against non-students?

the malmaison in manchester is stunning (and expensive!) so i hope there are people on here who can make good use of the offer :)
  • :T What a deal.... As soon as I read this post I rang my cousin with the details as she likes to get her mum out whenever she can, usually managing a few days in a Blackpool hotel.

She's just booked a night in a £235 room for £4.50 as her mum is....... 98yrs old!!!!

The lady on the phone was quite shocked and amused and said that they didn't think that someone of that age would actually take up the offer. Actually my cousin and aunt wanted 2 nights but apparently the offer is only available for a 1 night stay on room rate only and not inc meals. So they have secured and paid in advance the total of £4.50 for a large queen bedded room with its own lounge. As her passport had expired (and she dosn't drive!) they were told it was OK to use my aunts photo bus pass as I.D. as these don't expire, so is still actually valid even though the photo is 33yrs old!!

To celebrate the deal I am joining them both for an evening meal (£15 for 3 courses) at their Manchester Malmaison hotel. We only live quite local but my aunt will be thrilled and feel like the queen mum in her posh room...

Thanks and Well done Money Expert!! :j
  • I'm off to London on an £8 train ticket with an offer from the Yorkshire Evening Post. This discriminates against people from Lancashire. Fantastic!
  • thats a bit annoying - i was planning on booking manchester malmaison for friday the 29th and then saw this offer and got all excited but it wont help me save money as im only 25

i think i will stay at the 4* premierapartments instead as i can get that for £70 and it will annoy me now staying at the malmaison as i would know lots of people paid far less than me.

Maybe you should use a DUMMY:rotfl:
  • If they are only giving the age discount to women, this amounts to sexual discrimination, and can have serious consequences.
